Conservative expert on immigration law to pursue suit against executive action

The most pivotal moment of his career is about to unfold on prime time TV, and Kris Kobach has no way to watch. “There’s really no TV in here?” he says, and a waitress at a downtown diner in tiny Tonganoxie shakes her head. “How about a phone? Anyone have enough cell service to stream live radio?” Kobach asks, and a few of the Republicans assembled here for a county meeting rush up to help.

(SNIP) Governors have been texting his cellphone and Senate staffers have been sending e-mails, and everyone is asking Kobach a version of the same question:

“Either we win this way or we lose big,” Kobach says. “If that happens, all of these illegal aliens will be eligible to feed at the trough filled by hardworking American people.”

He went from being a champion high school debater, to graduating summa cum laude in his class at Harvard, to rowing for Oxford, to editing the Yale Law Journal.

Every time an illegal alien gets a job, that’s a job that probably would have gone to an American at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Either way, his chances hinge on the same issue that has plagued many of his previous immigration cases: He will have to prove the plaintiffs have standing to sue by showing they have suffered credible, personal injury because of Obama’s executive action. He thinks Texas, with an estimated 1.7 million illegal immigrants, might be his best chance. “The numbers there are good for us,” he says. “Illegal-alien households with kids consume a lot of resources: K-through-12 education, food stamps, earned income tax — these things add up.”

Are we stupid or what? Did our parents, and grandparents and great grandparents just simply get it wrong about our nation and its values. Did the greatest generation, who fought against Nazism and tyranny, sacrifice and die on foreign soil so that our American Dream and its values and principles could simply become a joke? This is what has befallen the nation since Obama took the oath of office as president of the United States. Now he stabs the nation in its heart and soul with an Executive Order that allows millions of illegal alien immigrants to become unofficial-official citizens. According to the New York Times Thursday, November 20th, is the date the president decided to shield illegal immigrants from deportation.

There are hundreds of thousands of liberals, socialists, Democrats, and some Republicans in Name Only (RINO) who support this move by Obama to give into the tyranny of relentless badgering at the nation’s walls of law that protect Americans. This action by the president is a culmination of a series of lies, mistruths, and out and out hammerlock tactics that have nearly strangled the lifeblood of liberty from the U.S. Constitution and the laws which protect Americans.

These illegal aliens have plied their tales of woe and of desperation upon the willing ears of sympathetic mainstream media writers and have evoked images of pain and suffering of years on the run. Can you imagine that: years of running from the law which was supposed to be enforced by the Border Patrol agents and the Obama administration. So a criminal who breaks into your home is now given the keys to the house because it is politically incorrect to deny the law breaker access.

What about justice and following the rules that were and should still be the hallmark of this great nation? Are they now trivialized and even scoffed at by the inhabitant of the White House and backroom mainstream media pundits?

Do not be mistaken, this is not an invitation to warm and friendly illegal immigrants who only want a chance at the American Dream. No, it is an out and out invasion by law breakers who have no respect for the laws that govern the nation, or for its language: ENGLISH!

Does it mean that President Obama has the power to issue executive orders whenever and how often he wishes concerning any topic?

For instance, what happens if in the middle of January 2015,next month, Obama decides that his recent immigration executive order does not cover enough people, so he decides to issue ANOTHER executive order covering another 5,000,000 illegals from all over the world and increasing visas for Tech Workers to 1,000,000, mostly from India and China. Can he do that?

Is Obama arrogantly telling us that he has the legal power to sign any executive order, and there is nothing we can do about it legally? how awful that is if true.

The typical unlawful immigrant is 34 years old. After amnesty, this individual will receive government benefits, on average, for 50 years. Restricting access to benefits for the first 13 years after amnesty therefore has only a marginal impact on long-term costs.

If amnesty is enacted, the average adult unlawful immigrant would receive $592,000 more in government benefits over the course of his remaining lifetime than he would pay in taxes.

Over a lifetime, the former unlawful immigrants together would receive $9.4 trillion in government benefits and services and pay $3.1 trillion in taxes. They would generate a lifetime fiscal deficit (total benefits minus total taxes) of $6.3 trillion. (All figures are in constant 2010 dollars.) This should be considered a minimum estimate. It probably understates real future costs because it undercounts the number of unlawful immigrants and dependents who will actually receive amnesty and underestimates significantly the future growth in welfare and medical benefits.

The most recent studies after the fact, concluded that Obama’s unlawful Amnesty will cost over $6 trillion just regarding Social Security and Medicare bankrupting both.
