When the new Legislature is sworn in on Monday, Sen. Ricardo Lara says he plans to introduce legislation that would create an Office of New Americans to help undocumented immigrants by connecting them to legal services, English classes and help applying for relief under the executive actions announced last week by President Barack Obama.

I need some relief. Especially from these open borders liberals.

On the left side going north on South Main in Salinas there’s a welfare office. It’s not called that, its called something like New Foundation or something like that.

The office should be called: ‘The office of Criminal Activities’
Democrats will now build an entire industry servicing amnestied illegals.
They will create a constituency dedicated to the perpetuation of amnesty for new illegals.
Then the labor unions will decide to unionize the employees servicing the illegals and union money will start to flow to politicians to preserve and expand the new industry.
Once politicians are receiving union kick backs and there are a large number of people with jobs dependent upon a constant flow of new illegals to process it will be impossible to get the government to shut down the open borders.
Didn’t the same state declare immigration a federal matter and not their business not too long ago?

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:
‘We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as ‘Americans’’.

As interesting as these numbers appear to be, your list is a hoax that has been around since at least 2006. One of the original versions of this hoax attributed the numbers to a June 2002 LA Times. The numbers are inaccurate and have never appeared in the LA Times.
You should not post (mis)information like this unless you also post the source links so that the rest of us can verify its veracity before contemplating repeating it. The last thing we need to do here is perpetuate phony numbers like the left likes to do.
Legal services to illegals might not be a good idea---b/c unlike the corrupt Third World court systems Sens Lara and illegals are familiar with, US courts do not dispenses justice to those who come to court w/ "unclean hands" (a legal term meaning those who have committed crimes).
Any lawyer who attempts to aid criminals, and others here illegally, should be reported to the Californi State Bar Association for disbarment.

Notice the author of this story writes “executive action,” and not “executive order.”
These posts citing the ills visited upon California by the invasion and annexation are so redundant. And tiresome.
You think we in California don’t know? We’ve known for years. When the immigration laws were erased in California first, the Federal courts and the Federal government told us to shut up about it. Oh, and they also called us racists. The other 49 states were utterly silent. So that makes you complicit in handing over the state with the largest economy and best farmland to foreign colonization.
And now that you’re afraid for your own state, NOW you’re worried about borders. And so very eager to talk about the ills visited on my state by your short-sightedness — as if they’re our fault and not yours.
Nobody blames New York for 9/11. Everyone blames California for the war of conquest waged by Mexico.
Unless any of you has a plan to rescue the state you abandoned, I’m not interested in your checklists detailing all the things wrong with California.
