What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson?

Posted on 11/26/2014 10:28:50 AM PST by Jim Robinson

What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson? Rocks, bottles, bricks, Molotov cocktails thrown. Stores looted and burned. Private property destroyed. Cars burned. Churches burned. Smoke, tear gas. Gunfire, including from automatic (assault) rifles. Looked and sounded like a war zone.

Dang. Almost as bad as those tea party rallies the DHS has been warning us about.

What's remarkable is the left’s almost magical ability to pick the wrong fight.

We know racism exists, but when the left choose an example to hold up and riot over they come up with people like George Zimmerman and Darren Wilson. A public examination turned up no racism. Just the opposite. Reasonable people must look at them and think.. ‘Man. Are they ever right?’

I especially liked it when they had their butt handed to them over their anti-Christmas movement. That worked out well. Stores that decided not to utter the word ‘Christmas’ had a quick change of principals when families took their spending elsewhere.

Jim,

You think it's bad now ... just wait!

Do you remember the experience at a couple of Walmart stores a few months ago when they had an EBT card glitch?

Unfortunately, our government is broke. Unfortunately, our currency is ruined. Unfortunately, we are about to lose our reserve currency status. Unfortunately, the dollar will probably go hyper at that point. Unfortunately, the world as we know it will end.

EBT cards will still get digital dollars. Maybe $20,000 a month ... maybe a $100,000 a month ... maybe more. Whatever the government decides they can still print. The problem is that with a gallon of gas selling for $100,000, a gallon of milk selling for $200,000 and a loaf of bread selling for something in between ... well, you get the idea.

Of course, the government will implement price controls and rationing. And of course, that will fail like all other government imposed solutions. Massive shortages will develop, lines will be long, tempers will flare!

And, of course, this will all be the fault of you Tea Party types ... not the government!

Useful idiots every last one of them

NG should have been in play acter the first rock was thrown

America is being Benghazi’d

No real action will be taken until decent people start fighting back

Then govt forces will come after the decent people fighting back

The govt, MSM, the racebaiters and the dumbasses who follow along and can’t/won’t think for themselves are straight up evil.

I think enough people in our society have been infested with the demon of narcissism to really foul it up for the rest of us

Ignorant attention whores looking for their fifteen minutes or free shit

They probably don’t really give a damn about the gentle giant or the supposed plight of the black race in America(gag)

I am thoroughly disgusted Mr Robinson

All of the rioters, looters and arsonist were Democrats. There was not one Republican among the bunch.

Im thinking more than half of those involved were shipped in from Occupy Wall St. and and the other half were simply out to get free stuff... Jay Nixon, your days are numbered as Mo Gov. Whats more, the state is almost all democrat led.

You do remember in 2009 when banks were lining up asking for the federal government to bail them out?

Do you remember who else was lining up? Yes, the major print media. Their circulations had deteriorated so much from competition from the internet and talk radio that they actually lined up to beg for a bailout. They also wanted the internet regulated.

So imagine Obama in early 2009 being asked to do something for the major national print news media. You think he would do anything without strings attached?

The media, like Congress, is for sale to the highest bidder.

I am old enough to remember riots around the country in the past. I see it as something blacks do every few years. Personally, I really don’t care as long as it isn’t my town. Cold-hearted? Oh, well.

Just what Obama and Holder wanted. It’s a bottom up, top down strategy.

I thought they were pretty lame. I expected much worse.

I was very disappointed. It was not as good as "Cats", the musical.

Personally, I believe they were caused by global warming.

And the trouble immigrants have coming to America.

And the Koch Brothers. Don't forget the Koch Brothers.

Just heard a brief interview with a leader of the group that shut down the freeway thru Atlanta. Interesting comment: “we want too show these young people how few it takes to shut things down.”

Only due to American restraint. In most other countries, that would get you shot and/or 'disappeared'.

The Rats stirred it up in order to get their usual mob to the polls. Didn't work. Stirring the "Gentle Giant" cow pie just didn't raise enough of a stink to rouse the parasites to the voting booth.

With the 2014 elections over, the Rats need to move on. They've miles this issue for all its worth to them. Now they need to throw the animals a little raw meat in the form of looting and pillaging, and then have the press quietly drop the whole thing, like they did with the Trayvon flap in 2012.

It's almost over, but it will be soon. Fat Lady sings later this week..

So it does not cover vandalism? Or are you saying civil disorder is different from run-of-the-mill-neighborhood-kids vandalism?

I would hope my policy covered vandalism. But I do not know for sure.

I’m late to the party on this thread, JimRob. But, here’s what I think:

The events in Ferguson have served and are serving as a foolproof diversion from the lawless, unconstitutional executive action that effectively legalized 5 million (to start!) criminal invaders. Both sides (Dumbocrats and Republicans) are probably grateful this Thanksgiving for such a “coincidentally” timed distraction.
