On Monday Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) called the grand jury’s decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown a “miscarriage of justice.”
In a statement released through the Congressional Black Caucus, which she chairs, Fudge said the decision not to indict Wilson “is a slap in the face to Americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail.”
“This decision seems to underscore an unwritten rule that Black lives hold no value; that you may kill Black men in this country without consequences or repercussions,” Fudge said. “This is a frightening narrative for every parent and guardian of Black and brown children, and another setback for race relations in America.”
“My heart goes out to Michael Brown’s loved ones, and to the loved ones of all the Michael Browns we have buried in this country,” Fudge said.
Last week, G.K. Butterfield, the incoming chair of the Congressional Black Caucus — and former Superior Court judge — said that a crime “probably was committed” in the shooting and he warned that “if [grand jurors] turn their backs on justice …there will be pushback from those who are concerned about it — and I’m one of those who’s concerned about it. There will be pushback. We will be asking questions.”
And the democrats are going to make sure it stays that way.

As was demonstrated last evening when democrats filled the streets and burned the businesses and posessions of Black Americans in Furgeson.
Mr. Butterfield can ask all the questions in the world, but the fact remains that Micheal Brown was a thug that committed a strong armed robbery and attacked a police officer. It is sickening is how a member of congress can disregard the rule of law and the results of the judicial system.
There is certainly an identifiable segment of the urban black population who act as though their own lives are worthless ... they murder each other routinely.

It is time to stop treating racist retards like the CBC as if they were serious, somewhat normal people who can be reasoned with using facts and logic.

Even if one grants the premise that violence by white police officers against blacks is epidemic, it certainly seems as if the black community is only hurting its own cause by its reaction to this case. It’s one thing for an officer to be found innocent at trial. An acquittal at trial is not really evidence that no crime was committed. Guilty people get acquitted all the time; our system is designed that way. A grand jury failing to indict is quite another thing. Grand jury proceedings are completely one-sided. The defense is not even allowed in the room typically. The prosecution gets to present all of its evidence unchallenged. The goal is to determine if that evidence is sufficient to proceed with a trial. If a grand jury finds that there is insufficient evidence of a crime, that is a much more conclusive finding than an acquittal at trial.
Reflexively lashing out and blaming the white police officer regardless of the facts is a poor way to make the case that police brutality is a problem. A thoughtful response which recognized that the facts of this case did not merit the outrage and anger would lend more credence to the accusations of police brutality where it really exists. When the black community reflexively gets outraged over cases like this, it just damages their credibility in other cases.
The only 12 people in the world who actually saw ALL of the evidence and heard ALL of the testimony decided there wasn’t even enough to go to trial.
Everyone else - the demagouge pols, the armchair lawyers, the rioting thugs etc...know what they’ve been told by the media or by friends. None of them - not this Marcia Fudge, not Obama, not Al Sharpton and not me or even you reading this (unless you happen to be one of the grand jurors) had access to this information.
The lesson that SHOULD be learned here is not to jump to a conclusion before having the evidence. Unfortunately, that lesson seems to be lost.
