IOW, the GJ should have punted, charged him with an easily defended charge and leave it up to the trial to find him not guilty.
(What they were saying, not what I would advocate.)
Wheeler goes that way on race. I think he might have done that with Trayvon too. Race trumps all. Only one race does not realize it.
My sister had a good point this morning. The violent protesters couldn’t point at Mike Brown and say he would not have been violent.
I guess he is in Soon, China. Obviously a misspell, it should read...... “Gone to Sun, China”
community = tribe
! Back to Africa, bruthahs and sistahs !
Maybe we can “crowdfund” their (one-way) tickets.
Michael Brown is the result of early 19th century practices to breed good field hands. The body turned out right but the mind lagged
Wow...Wilson looks like a kid to me. I guess I, getting old. Or is that Jesse? Someone tell him Heisenberg called...
I’m going to avoid looking at thuggish faced black men and women for a while, in the aftermath of Ferguson. Anger and rage, day after day, is just plain ugly on so many levels.
I think I would die if I stoked that energy within my mind and guts around a heap of self deception every day. If this happened to me - a police officer shot and killed my son - I would be horrified and sorrowful to lose him. At the same time, I would have to confront the truth that my son was a thug who robbed a store and beat up the police man before getting shot by him. I would have been mad at myself for allowing him to sing rap about killing cops and taking on the act of a thug.
In the end, I would have to forgive my son, myself and the cop. I think my face during this process would appear broken rather than aggressive, proud and angry. If I honestly felt that I lived in a place with racist cops endangering my children, I’d move. But if I lived with a boy who mistook himself as a rebellious, bulling, racist thug, I would be riding roughshod. That kid would be sorry he was born before he even knew the meaning of “police officer.”
