Of course she’s upset. The verdict doesn’t kill her chances for a big payoff but it doesn’t help.

The system worked. The Grand Jury listened to the evidence and didn’t find any reason to indict.
This happened August 9 so the family has had plenty of time to grieve and mourn.
What saddens me is this mother is not taking any responsibility for how she raised this extra large kid. There’s the real crime. It sounds like the kid even had some potential but didn’t get the kind of guidance only good parents could give.
Blaming the cop for doing his job as trained is nonsense.
