President Obama’s decision to ignore the law by granting de facto amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants brought to America as children and those who are parents of children with legal status was a terribly foolish act. It will only serve to exacerbate racial tensions.
Polls indicate the overwhelming majority of whites view illegal immigration as threatening. Many see immigrants as taking jobs from native-born Americans, pushing down wages and contributing to cultural decline.
While many may silently harbor racial bigotry, the adverse economic consequences for whites are real and palpable.
Illegal immigration increases the supply of low-skilled workers, and that drives down wages for less educated whites and African-Americans.
Millions of illegals will qualify for work permits and be able to take more visible, better-paying jobs. Native born Americans will face more competition for positions paying significantly above the federal minimum. For example, those paying between the averages for the hospitality and construction industries—$17 and $25 per hour, respectively.
Exacerbating racial tensions among highly skilled professionals, elite universities, reflecting years of pressure from the Department of Education, divide admissions along informal racial quotas, and that disadvantages white applicants.
A group called Students for Fair Admissions has brought suit in federal court against Harvard and UNC charging that the practice discriminates against Asians, who tend to be the best academically qualified racial group.
If they prevail, and given the inclinations of the administration to pressure schools to admit blacks and Hispanics, even more white applicants would be squeezed out of top universities their antecedents founded and endowed.

In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, “I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies.” Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.”

This isn’t really about “whites” in general but people whose worldview is mainly conservative and Christian. I think these are people who adhere to the values that used to commonly called “WASP” (white Anlgo-Saxon Protestant).
Liberals tell us a lot if we just stand back from a sufficient distance and listen. We can see who liberals call “white” by seeing to whom that attribute other attributes. For example, in 1988, Nobel Prize winning poet Tony Morrison wrote in the New Yorker that Bill Clinton was the “first black president.” She claimed that Clinton was “blacker than any actual black person who could ever be elected in our children’s lifetime.”
Contrariwise, in 2009, When the NAACP calls the black conservative Kenneth Gladney, “not black enough”, and “not a brother” then what is “black”? When Time magazine’s Jack White calls Supreme Court Justice Thomas, “the scariest of
all the hobgoblins”, saying “Washington seems to be filled with white men who make black people uneasy”, than what is
“black”?
Then we have liberal treatment of presidential candidate Herman Cain and GOP executive Michael Steel.
In a January 30, 2012 article in The Hill, Juan Williams wrote that when conservative candidates use the words “Founding Fathers” and the “Constitution”, they are speaking in code. He said that when a candidate suggests that black people should demand jobs instead of food stamps, that he is “ “dog whistling” at certain white audiences”, saying this was “the same rhetorical technique of the segregationist politicians of the past...” This begs the question, if a person reveres the Founding Fathers, what race does Williams presume he is?
After the general election in November 2014, the NAACP released statement on the outcome and failed to mention that Tim Scott was the first black in the South to be elected to the US Senate. They also failed to mention Mia Love, the first black woman to be elected to the US House from Utah. Both Scott and Love are black.
On September 15, 2014, talk show host Sean Hannity interviewed Barack Obama’s half brother, Mark Obama Ndesandjo about his new book. While Ndesandjo’s father was Barack Obama, Sr., he has a different mother, Ruth (Baker) Ndesandjo, an American Jew from Boston. Ruth, like Barack Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunam, was Caucasian.
During the course of the interview, Mark Ndesandjo said that he thought Barack Obama was ashamed of Mark’s “whiteness” and that maybe Barack was a little bit ashamed of his “blackness”.
In truth this is all liberal code. White = “conservative” and not white = “liberal”. This is not about race, but how red a person’s ideology is in the eyes of the media elites.

Hard to believe the NAZI Lover Joe could ever do anything to promote racial minorities. Must have had some motive other than racial harmony.
It was about the vote, the democrats had only won the Protestant vote in 1932 and 1936, (now 1964 can be added to that list) the democrats had to replace the original Americans if they were going to win elections, and that is what we live in today, and what is our future.
