That is all I meant by saying they were making a statement. Of course it should be just considered normal dress for a man. But they had to cut his hair and obviously they knew what he was like.
Another poster said they should have had an open casket for family only. That is what I was responding to. I think they wanted everyone to see him as he really was — a man.
