There’s some wordsmithing going on there as well. “subject to more crime”. Think about that statement for a moment. It sounds as if the crime is placed upon them. A more accurate phrase might have been “Minority communities typically commit more crime”.
Wasn’t this pretty much what Rudy Guiliani said and the liberals went nuts?
What about the "gentle giant" who just committed a strong arm robbery of a convenience store for a box of cigars and the beat a cop and grabbed for his gun inside the police car?
The vast majority of crimes in black communities are committed by blacks yet for some reason the cops are supposed to pretend otherwise.

Yeah, bad ol’ WHITE peeple travel to ‘oppressed, poor’ hoods to steal, rape and kill. And then they go back to their ‘inherited’ wealth, back to their suburban mansions and watch Duck Dynasty?

Perhaps in the last two years he (AND Michelle) can shift from race card and food police to address the pervasive low-achiever culture found in these neighborhoods and schools. I do not think I have heard ANYONE in this administration decry the ‘Rap Culture’ or the ‘Uncle Tom’ attitude towards achievers in these places.
There would be no one better than these people, as the most successful minority achievers in US History, to break the pernicious and destructive patterns that do so much to destroy family stability and personal success in this subculture. Sadly, I fear that this is a hope that will never see fruition.

Did he mean minority communities or black communities? I ask because there doesn’t seem to be a lot of violent crime in Asian communities, Jewish communities, and many Latino communities (non-Mexican/Central American).
Maybe we should look to the past for an answer.
I think South Africa back in the days of the E-Viil white rule had black cops for black towns and white cops for white towns.
Why just look at what we could do with this kind of progressive thinking. Black cops in the ghetto, Latino cops in the barrio and white cops in the suburbs.
Holy Diversity Batman! We could even go further in our search for more diversity by dividing us up even further by having rules that only same can even stop same.
