Please Pray for My Family

I am a long time Freeper here to ask my fellow Freepers to pray for my family. I have not been posting, but lurking for the last couple years because life has been difficult to say the least.

I don't want to waste everyones time with a long sad story so I'll simply say things have hit rock bottom. My last hope fell through this morning and my family is going to be evicted from our home in three hours. My children are going to come home from school today to find out they are homeless.

Please pray for my wife and children and ask the Lord to protect them as we try to survive this difficult time.

Look in your local paper or phone book for listings of small delivery or courier jobs/companys.If you even have a car”vans are better” they will hire you on the spot and you will work the same day.It delivering small packages and office supplies around your area.Its work Ive done many times in the past whenever I needed quick cash.These places are always hiring as its sink or swim work.If you prove you can be trusted to deliver the packages you swim if you cant you sink.No benefits and you pay all your own expenses but its quick work.Look for companies named Rush
Delivery,Priority Delivery,or similar names.

If you haven’t been in touch with your county’s social services, do it now. You might find a counselor at your kids’ school(s) who can help. Accept the help. Too many conservatives won’t seek help however desperately they may need it. You don’t have to accept the assistance forever, but it will help you get thru this situation and eventually on your feet. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and offers to help in anyway you could. A friend was able to help us in the nick of time and we averted the eviction for at least two weeks. I was actually in my landlord’s office paying one month’s back rent when the constable walked in. Luckily, the landlord had only obtained the court order based on one month in arrears so it bought us some additional time to get caught up.

I have no doubt the prayers of everyone is responsible for the last minute good fortune and I can’t express my thanks enough for all the prayers, advice and generosity of everyone.

You have my deepest thanks and I will be in touch with those of you who contacted me privately. Thank you all, God bless you and haveva wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thank God you got some breathing room. Take advantage of that time to see what assistance you and your family are eligible for. You’ve been a productive member of society and are well entitled to its ‘safety net’ while you pull the pieces together.

I sure wish you were closer. We have rentals and have floated people way longer than a couple of months. (We’re kind of bad at the landlord thing.)
