Obamagration and our Disdainful President (He's not my president)

The executive order, which President Obama has issued, granting amnesty to millions of individuals now residing illegally in our country, should make clear the profound disregard our president has for American voters, our constitution, and our two-party system.

It might be possible to justify this action if it was addressing a national emergency of utmost urgency or clearly reflected the priorities and wishes of the American people. But neither is the case.

Republicans just won a decisive election, giving them control of both houses of congress, interpreted uniformly as a repudiation of the president and his agenda.

To totally disregard what just happened at the polls, and not wait the few weeks until the new Congress is sworn in and has the opportunity to deliberate on this huge and complex issue, shows the contempt which this president holds for the constitutional republic which put him in office.

But don’t just take my word for it.

In a new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, 48 percent expressed opposition to the president acting through executive order on the immigration issue and 38 percent supported it.

In the same poll, 56 percent said congress should “take the lead in setting policy for the country” and 33 percent said President Obama should.

There are differences of opinion whether the president’s action is constitutional, not surprisingly aligned with party affiliation.

But appreciating that there are sharp differences of opinion leads again to the same conclusion. Short of a national emergency, wait until the new government the American people just voted for convenes and can deliberate, in a manner consistent with how this nation was conceived and designed to work.

There is no poll showing that that the immigration issue sits at the top of concerns of the American people.

In exit polls from the last election reported by the Wall Street Journal, 45 percent said the economy was their issue of top concern compared to just 14 percent who gave immigration top priority.

Even among Hispanic voters, according to the Pew Research Hispanic Trends Project, exits polls showed 49 percent said the economy was the most important issue, compared to just 16 percent ranking immigration at the top.

This is all too reminiscent of what we went through with the passage of the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, at the beginning of the first term of this administration.

The economy was in deep recession. When all efforts and attention should have been on fixing the economy and restoring growth, the main focus of the first year of the Obama administration was on the president’s pet personal agenda – nationalizing one sixth of the American economy by way of health care.

For those with short memories, it was finally rammed through without a single Republican vote, and against the sentiments of the American people, as indicated by the polls.

A history of the average of polls on Obamacare from the day it was signed into law in March 2010 to today shows that there has not been a day when the polling has been net favorable.

Even from the point of view of blacks, who have been Obama’s most consistent and loyal consistency, this executive order is inscrutable. How can unilateral amnesty, making millions of low-income workers here illegally, legal, be in the interest of black Americans, where unemployment stands at 10.8 percent – twice the national rate?

Immediately poisoning the well from which both parties must draw water in order to do the nation’s business over the next two years, says something about the importance our president gives to the nation’s business.

As has been the case from day one, the Obama priority is the progressive transformation of America, not the strength, meaning, and integrity of our nation.

The recent elections show that citizens are finally waking up. But it’s going to be a long and bitter two years.

This should be shouted in every black community. Obama has give the middle finger to all his black supporters.

Where are the activists? They are protesting what a white man did to one of their thugs. How about what one black man has just done to all of their working people?

I WISH Star parker had won the seat in Congress a few years ago. She would have been a true asset to the country working in Congress. Hopefully she will run again and WIN!

(a) they took control of the US Census;

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings of the Treasury that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD shortly after quitting his powerful WH job as Obama's COS, Rahm held a presser declaring he "just remembered" he really, Really wanted to be Mayor of Chicago. Then Rahm announced he had magically "raised" $10 million for his campaign in "just a matter of weeks." (waiting for hysterical laughter to die down). Ya gotta wonder how much Wall Street Rahm wired offshore when Obama put him in charge of the entire US Treasury.

The mayoralty (and its--cough--"benefits") is a job Emanuel has coveted since he was a machine go-fer back in the 1980s.....before he became Bill Clinton's national campaign finance chairman and then a dual role as senior White House aide and Goldman Sachs lobbyist and then (gasp) becoming a multi-millionaire, thanks to a measly few months at a local investment firm...then a (gag) Congressman for four terms---then White House chief of staff for Obama that helped create the 2010 Republican House landslide.

Obama signed "memos" on AF One---not an "executive action." Why? B/c an E/O comes w/ legal baggage that the conniving Grumaba wanted to avoid.

Both "memos" are on the Whitehouse website now.

The scam works this way: signed Grubama memos instruct federal agency heads to come up with plans (that must meet his global conspiracy to overthrow the US govt w/ Third World federales sending in advance forces at the border).

The agencies then invent Committees to do this (the better to overthrow the US govt). Then "Administrative Rules," after a comment period, will be published in the "Code of Federal Regulations," which magically turns them into law using federal fairy dust.

So Grubama is shielded from responsibility---he doesn't have to take the hit. Behind closed doors, he tells federal agency heads what he wants.....and faster than you can say "the combo plate w/ extra hot sauce".....the over throw of the US govt commences.

Federal agencies have been doing this since 1946. They have it down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law.

No Congressman was ever involved, and Grubama doesn't have his fingerprints or DNA on it.

Yet again why "Delegation" is ominous for liberty---why the writing of administrative law by federal agencies - is un-Constitutional. (Thanks to FReeper Regulator's info.)

The presumption is that the 10.8% unemployed want to work. The fact is that among the black subculture in the cities not working is acceptable. I mean why work when a balance of welfare born of payments for bastard children, all kinds of free stuff, some criminal activity and liking living poor are preferred to working like a white or yellow fool.

The 10.8 % are not just unemployed, they are unemployable. Such trash is not wanted by employers to associate with decent people. The subculture disdains work

The assumption here is that blacks want jobs. I don’t think that is the case. They want free stuff and others to do their work for them.

liberals believe immigration is a fundamental “human right” that government should aid & abet & never interfere with. “small government”!!! liberals control city council elections, therefore public union bosses get to hand-pick the police chief, when then announces that good police work means not taking immigration statistics or caring about immigration status, then that city becomes a “sanctuary city” as liberals help thousands & thousands of illegals to take root in the shadows & tell us they aren’t hurting anybody.......until there are enough of them to influence elections....then liberals tell us how dangerous it is to have so many people living scared in the shadows & tell us we OWE the illegals a path to citizenship & voting Democrat. They remind us about how the illegals have “served us” by busing tables & doing landscaping, etc—as if the illegals were working for US instead of for money. They aren’t busing tables out of friendship & neighborly love, they are busing tables because they want & need MONEY, which is the same reason why most people work with no special thanks from our government.....except American workers are often over-taxed & underpaid because of all the illegal poor people burdening the system.
...and black people probably have suffered most because of cities full of illegals since 1965 Open Immigration Act.
If the President uses his power to “pardon” people, those people first should plead guilty & be stripped of any right to vote & citizenship in the future. Then, you can make some of them permanent legal residents. Meanwhile, WSJ Republicans think we should outcompete liberals in our zeal to welcome all immigrants, under the false belief that we then can expect “thanks” from the immigrants at election time in return for the favor because immigrants are “natural Republicans”. But we know that Mexicans are less religious and more left-wing than any other nationality or ethnicity. .........

Maybe they do or do not want to work, but it is still the big middle finger for to his black brethren. He basically has shredded the constitution and expended all his political capital for Hispanics, and has done NOTHING for his own people, except for a few token appointments.

Amazing if they cannot see this. This needs to be shouted in all the neighborhoods.
