I’d support censure for politics and funding for exact control.

Censure is described in the article as a marketing piece to help with the sale of more appropriate, harsher measures - ie funding control.
Not censure alone.

He can just EO around your little censure.
But go ahead if it makes you feel better. :)

Trouble is Boehner and McConnell are Dean Wormer when it comes to Obama. When it comes to their base, they're Mayor Carmine de Pasto.
Me? I'd flood POTUS with legislation, block his nominees over vetoes, and investigate the crap out of his administration, i.e. exercising legitimate congressional oversight.

“All of the above” couldn’t hurt.
Obama seems to be his peeps’ Andrew Jackson. Trouble is, even who his peeps are keeps on shifting.

censure is a waste of time at best, and a diversion otherwise

Impeachment will damage Republicans more than Democrats.
I do support impeachment and have for some time, but that is my gut response, not the politically beneficial response.

Jacksons actions were meant to rebuke Biddle for supporting Henry Clay for president in 1832 and, later, to supply patronage to pro-Democratic bank managersNot entirely correct. Jackson was also bitterly opposed ideologically to the very idea of a Bank.
To: Kaslin
By all means, let us add a really angry letter to that censure, maybe we could get Issa to write it, since he has been so successful in the past with his missives.

Censure is just another delaying action while 0bama’s treachery proceeds. Case in point: where does the lawsuit that the GOP was pursuing against 0bama stand, and how has it even slowed the bastard down?

When Bawney Fwank’s BF ran a boy ho’ house out of his home, what did Bawney suffer?
Censure.
How many people think it put a huge dent in his career..?
It barely *bothered* him.

Boehner and McConnell have financed ALL of Obama’s activities TO DATE... ON PURPOSE
Any that think this will change (in a BIG way) are delusional..

Impeachment.....?...
Republicans and Democrats are doing Good guy, Bad guy in a brilliant stage play...
When Boehner and McConnell are not doing “Weekend at Bernies”.. and Uncle Sam is Bernie..

Censure would give the Congressional Dhims cover - they could vote for it to show their constituents how shocked - shocked, I say! - they were over Barky’s lawlessness, and then sabotage any efforts to defund it, stop nominees, etc. More smoke and mirrors.
