Tell the GOP who you favor as the GOP Presidential Candidate in 2016
Emil from Sharon Day RNC Co-Chair | 11/23/2014 | Sharon Dat

Posted on 11/23/2014 11:14:10 AM PST by Robert DeLong

Email received today from Sharon Day RNC Co-Chair

As President, Barack Obama has disregarded the Constitution, ignored the will of the American people and treated America as a monarchy, not a democracy.

America deserves better, which is why the 2016 presidential election is so important. We must elect a principled Republican to restore a constitutional government — where the government serves the people, not the other way around.

Republicans understand the role of the government — and respect the framework of the Constitution. We believe in the American Dream — and the power of the people over the power of a one-man legislature. That's why Republicans historically have made great Presidents.

Who would you like to see lead our Party in the 2016 presidential election?

Take the GOP 2016 Presidential Straw Poll

After all, she is the co-chair of the RNC.

I’m not being facetious. They want a moderate to be nominated and run in 2016.

I would like to make a donation and I have my preferred candidate. But I will not contribute a dime to the RNC until I see who you are backing for 2016. No Bushes, no Romneys, no McClaimes or any other losers or Rinos.. I have however contributed to individual Congressional races.

A ‘moderate.’

Yes, someone who can ‘work with’ (i.e., capitulate to) Democrats.

Far as I’m concerned, these two are the prom king and queen.

I don’t know, could be Chris Christie. But you are probably correct. That way a Clinton could once again beat a Bush.

"I'm not worried about 2016 - I'm worried about NOW!"

I think that’s the right attitude. In order to restore the constitutional republic, patriots must now destroy the phony powers of the unconstitutionally big federal government, such powers actually state powers which the corrupt feds have stolen from the states.

In fact, all that Ms Day is doing is foolishly helping to insure that Constitution-ignoring Democrats will once more be in control of DC in a few election cycles after Constitution-ignoring RINOs make fools out of themselves again. Democrats and RINOs take turns making fools out of themselves you know.

“We just elected your sorry asses to STOP Obola’s agenda. I’m not worried about 2016 - I’m worried about NOW!”

I agree 100%. Nothing more needs to be said.

If they do the right thing now, 2016 (and far beyond) will take care of itself.

Why choose? The powers that be have already decided who the Republican nominee will be!

Whichever candidate has the most respect for the limitations of the Constitution, a complete abhorrence of Socialism/Progressivism in all its forms, and political balls big enough to fight the bad guys on both sides of the aisle.

No more squishy, middle-of-the-road, go along to get along, compromiser types that are only concerned about the speed in which this country’s careening to hell.

GOP.com ...

I have a feeling they couldn’t care less who we select. They are just collecting email addresses for future mailings to request donations.

I quit contributing to the RNC in the 1990s. When they gave up on borders, language, and culture I said no thanks very much. The RNC hung Californians out to dry after the state voted overwhelming to respond to cross border invasion through the passage of Prop 187.

Ever since I only contribute to individual candidates
