And conservative critics have a point that Obama is stretching norms of political behavior by enacting effective changes in the law solely on his own.
Immigration law, unlike other kinds of law, is explicitly designed by Congress to delegate authority to the president. "The Immigration and Nationality Act and other laws are chock-full of huge grants of statutory authority to the president,” notes Republican lawyer Margaret Stock.

We’re going to see a lot more `question begging’ by Obama’s bootlickers as the days go by. For any lurking Democrats or affirmative action honor graduates, `begging the question’ means “assuming the conclusion (of an argument)”, a type of circular reasoning.
They don’t have the facts or the law, logos is missing-in-action, and they are definitely lacking ethos with Barry’s track record.
America has flatly rejected their pathetic attempts to wring tears from the most generous, immigrant-friendly nation in the world.
So all they can do is have their sycophants in the MSM to say over-and-over, “Well, Obama won.” The commies loves this technique: repeat a big lie over-and-over until it becomes truth.

Johnny, there was an article on the forum last night that explained why Obama isn't going to release any Executive Orders concerning illegal immigration.
In the article (wish I knew where it was), it explains that Obama will be taking "Executive Actions" to implement his immigration agenda. From what I gathered, these will consist of a series of general orders to the various federal agencies charged with handling the various aspects of immigration.
Perhaps you saw the article yourself, or someone else can post a link to the thread.
Anywho....the article presents data that would indicate a way forward to an effective strategy to combat Obama's mischief.
Any memos don't have any teeth or force of law.
