Are these governors the GOPs antidote to the party of the 1 percent?
Gov. Scott Walker, a rabid Wisconsin Badgers fan, likes to razz Gov. John Kasich about his Ohio State Buckeyes. Were hoping to be against each other in the Big 10 championship in a couple weeks, he said during a panel discussion at the Republican Governors Association meeting here this week.

That being said, it would be nice to see some governors from electoral Democrat states move to the federal level.
Walker has won three statewide elections in four years, right? He has my early support.
Rick Snyder is pretty liberal but doesn’t govern that way. His handling of Obama has been masterful.
A typical Politico article on Republicans—where the Democrats at Politico don’t actually bother to talk to any Republican!
Pence or Walker, the other two are RINOs!
The author of this Politico article is a sodomy belt liberal.
I don’t have time to read this whole thing now but yes walker won three times and in the face of opposition that is best described as rabid.
Walker won my support when he fought the WI public employee unions, and won. Even when the unions flooded the capital and held it hostage. I was really impressed with how he held his ground and won.
If I had to rate them Pence would have a very slight edge over Walker only because he has experience in congress also, but it is a tough call on that. Walker may be a tad more conservative.
Kasich would come in third, he has experience in congress but is untrustworthy on social issues and is a general RINO.
Snyder is basically an all around RINO. Tax raising, social liberal turd. He can’t be trusted at all on the 2nd amendment, and he has a record as an eco-twit that goes back long before he was elected. Anything conservative that has happened in MI he has had to be dragged along kicking and screaming. Not just NO, but hell NO!
My solution in 2016: Make Mittens the VP and give him a REAL project: Turn Detroit around in 4-6 years. He’s not one of us but it would give him(us) a chance to show the nation- low information types-(especially Blacks) what they missed out on. Rub it in.
Christie has done a good job against our teachers’ unions here in NJ. I don’t see him as a national figure, just a representative of a rust-belt state where taxpayers are sick of supporting gibsmedats and government employees.
Walker is very soft on immigration, he fell quite short in his promises for job creation, and some of the Wisconsin budget figures are questionable. Also, he is very closely alligned with the GOPe (Priebus, Ryan, and Rove).
Pence is ok, but neither he nor Walker have shown the steely resolve, steadfastness, or willingness to fight and stick it to Obama as Ted Cruz has.
All of these articles by liberals are designed to sabotage Ted Cruz.
I rated the 4 mentioned in the article, Cruz is still my choice in the primary.
Snyder is so bad I don’t think he could win the republican POTUS primary in his own state. If he did it would be with a ton of RAT crossover votes.
The Party of the 1 percent? I thought that next January we were gonna occupy about 60% of House seats and 55% of Senate seats!
