Until the new Congress is in power in January .. there is very little they can do at the moment. What ever they might try to do in the House will be stopped in the Senate.

Last year, during the bogus government shut down, Obama closed national parks and monuments, some which lost money because they would have been better than self-sufficient if they were opened. Some monuments cost money to close, because of the guards and barricades to stop veterans and others from enjoying them.

What's my point? The "self-paying" argument makes no sense now if it didn't then. Why do the Republicans let Obama write their talking points? Have they ever stood for anything in their lives, except for their paymasters?

Not sure what they're supposed to do until they assume control of the Senate. Harry Reid is still able to control what gets an up-and-down vote in the Senate.

Perhaps they’re playing it close to the vest. Why go public with a plan, just so Obama and his pets in the “media” can spend the next six weeks tearing it apart. Why not catch them by surprise?

There is nothing they can do. Maybe after January 11, and the new breed sworn in they might find something they can do. Currently there is no legal way to stop this conversion except the Courts. And most of the Court including the Supreme Court are polluted. It will only be 2016 and if we are LUCKY to get the Presidency can we start to do something.

The republicans are in a mine field right now, and frankly have been since Obama has taken office. First of all, he hasn’t signed anything yet, secondly, there is nothing the Republican cans do until they actually become the majority. I know this isn’t going to be popular but I think they have played their cards very well.
