Will the GOPe leadership take advice from this democrat, or will they take advice from MSNBC? I’m not optimistic - unless Ted Cruz forces them to do the right thing.

We are already paying a heavy price. Held nose, voted for McCain. Held nose, voted for Mitt. THEY BOTH LOST! The reach-across-the-aisle RINOs (palatable to the Democrats) LOST. I’m not taking advice from a Dem nor RINO on how to “win” an election. We are already paying the price. The entire Country will be paying the price.

I have a few choice words for the former governor of my home state, but I won’t use them here. I don’t want to be banned.

I’m curious to know if the White House visitor log shows many visits from John McCain and Grahamnesty shortly before this act.

Yeah, they paid a horrific price for the shutdown last year. /sarc

Email I sent to my congresswoman and both senators today (all Repubs):

Dear ____,

I am writing to express my disgust at the utterly unconstitutional and therefore illegal actions by Barack Obama last night. But I think the Republicans disgust me even more, because they’ve taken the only true constitutional remedy to executive tyranny, impeachment, off the table. If Republicans now do nothing to stop this criminal, they’re less than useless, and he may as well declare himself the emperor they’re letting him become. Needless to say, if this stands, I’ll never vote for another Republican again.

It will cost them the 2016 elections.

But the time has come for it.

Obama just can't wait to bring back the Barry-cades and lock a few WWII vets out of the WWII memorial

That’s what everyone from Obama to Rove to Brit Hume and Chas. Krauthammer said last December when Obama shut down the government and wouldn’t let the school kids and WWII vets tour their capital. This November the GOP won in a landslide. Can we junk that old media shibboleth now?

If the President has the power, why hasn’t he ordered DOJ and DEA not to arrest and prosecute drug smugglers, dealers and users? Why hasn’t he stopped prosecution of a myriad of CRIMES?

Wholesale discretion for large groups is not within his purview, IMO.

As for what happens to the GOP if they try to stop him, Rendell is dreaming, frankly. And, that is why they (liberals and rabid RINOs) are trying to dissuade the GOP from acting.

If you defund/reduce Obama’s core LIVs (SNAPS, TANF, WICs, SECTION 8, EITC, et al) and you tell them the reason is those 5 million illegals, they’re gonna start thinking right where they should be.

If you can count them, you can deport them. If you give them work permits, you can yank them and deport them. As far as I’m concerned the first Republican running for President that comes out and says he’ll invalidate Hussein’s EO at 12:01 PM January 21, 2017 is one I’ll vote for.

I agree on one point this moonbat said, Obama does have some discretion on deportations. What he has no discretion on is creating green cards and issuing SS cards. Funny the Dem screechers all leave that part out.

Exactly what price would that be?? We are, at this moment, literally as far away from an election as possible.

Shut the government down from December 11th to January 6th. Nobody will miss it.

Oh, they’ll try to hurt the people by shutting down the post office or something right around Christmas, but so be it.

Liberty or presents! Pick one!

If the last election is an indication of “the heavy price” the GOP pays for shutting down the guvmint, shut it down more often, I say.
