U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions, Republican
It is time to stand strong for the American people. It is time to champion the interests of those constantly neglected on the question of immigration: the men and women and children we representthe citizens of this country to whom we owe our ultimate allegiance. Every American must ask their Senator where they stand.
U.S. Senator Richard Shelby, Republican
President Obama's plan to unilaterally grant amnesty to millions of individuals who have broken our nation's immigration laws is unconstitutional and must not be tolerated. If the President truly believed that this approach was in the best interest of the American people, he would not have waited until after the election to make this long-anticipated announcement.
I strongly oppose providing amnesty to those who have entered our country illegally. Border security, enforcement, and removal must be the first response to illegal immigration. President Obama's failure to enforce our nation's immigration laws has led us to where we are today and his decision to reward lawlessness with amnesty places additional undue burdens on the American people.

Obama the man(?) that knows nothing proves it again
Okay, so what is Jeff going to do? He needs to be the tip of this spear, as head of the budget committee (so long as Mitch’s b*** Mike Enzi doesn’t steal his gavel). He needs to be the leader here on DEFUNDING Obastard, and reject an omnibus bill. He has the most power.
Has anyone thought about praying for our representatives?
Are you kidding?
If you arent a troll, then do us all a favor and go surrender somewhere else.
Some of you so-called conservatives are more pathetic than RINOs.
It’s a double-edged sword.
The unions thought NAFTA was a bad idea. This is just NAFTA for labor, instead of goods.

The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century. If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers threatens to depress further the wages of blue- collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net. (The opinion of the anti-illegal-alien crusader Barack HusseiObama from his 2006 autobiography The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream)
Obama had super majority in both cameras during the first two years of his presidency, but he didnt give the amnesty during his first 100 days as he promised to those living illegally in the country Furthermore, as senator, Obama opposed George W Bush when the republicans tried to give a legal status to those living illegally in U.S.
Blacks are going to be the main collateral victims of Obama's anti-Black amnesty. Black Americans are already suffering higher unemployment since Obama took power. Obamas new class of protected immigrants will take over their jobs and Blacks will be forced to share their welfare checks and food stamps with them

The power of the purse prevented Obama from closing Gitmo and other less publicized cases where he was thwarted.
Now let's see some firepower.
We held our noses, did our part, and gave the big talkers majorities in both houses.
We'll soon see if there's a pair of balls between the lot of 'em.
Go "flip your minnow" my troll friend.
I think you meant to respond to someone else.
Yes, my comment #10 should have been to comment #4 and not #5.
Those were two generic, non-statements. Sessions only stated that Alabamians are the ones he represents and Shelby, while making the right noises, promised no action whatsoever.
Talk is cheap.
