The main thing that needs to be emphasized is that Obama is declaring war on the American worker. He is giving work permits to over 4 million people and increasing the number of temporary work visas to an additional 500,000 a year. And we add 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants every year.

We have the lowest labor participation rate since 1978. We have a surplus of labor. More foreign workers means fewer jobs and depressed wages.

American jobs for American workers should be the response.

The other issue is many employers want ILLEGAL workers. They want to pay people lower wages, dodge payroll taxes, benefits, have unsafe or otherwise shady work place or working conditions. When illegals become legal they nearly always get other jobs. Employers that still want illegal workers will cause more illegals to pour in. Rinse and repeat and that is why NOTHING will work unless we secure the border and enforce all current immigration law.
