... at least 1,581 police departments arrest black people at a higher rate than Ferguson, where blacks are arrested nearly three times more than people of other races.
That includes police departments in cities like New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco and St. Louis. The St. Louis County Police Department arrested black people (113.7 per 1,000 residents) at more than three times the rate of nonblacks (32.4).
"Something needs to be done about that," Ezekiel Edwards, head of the ACLU's Criminal Law Reform Project, told the paper. "In 2014, we shouldn't continue to see this kind of staggering disparity wherever we look."
The paper found one stunning example of racial disparity in Dearborn, Mich.:
More than half of the people Dearborn police arrested in 2011 and 2012 were black, according to reports they submitted to the FBI. By comparison, about 4% of the city's residents are black, as are about a quarter of the people who live in Metropolitan Detroit. Over those two years, the department reported arresting 4,500 black people — 500 more than lived in the city. As a result, the arrest rate for blacks, compared with the city's population, was 26 times higher than for people of other races.

And yet strangely enough, they are convicted by juries.

I agree. Black people need to straighten up and fly right. Then their arrest rate would drop.
In terms of violent behavior they are off the charts.

The really sad thing is, the blacks and libs think racism really is the reason most of these people are arrested. They do not see the behavioral differences.
I went into an area I used to live that used to be white last week. I could not believe just the amount of screaming going on in the street. When blacks walk into these sedate white areas, sometimes I don’t think they even see that most whites do not run around screaming and smacking each other. Or if they do, they think it’s “acting white”. Then they think when they whites look at them sideways and turn away, that they are being “racist”. They aren’t. They just think it’s terrible behavior to run around screaming and smacking at the top of your voices and using foul language and calling everyone “n**** and b*****” and they avoid them. Also, maybe it’s subtle signal to law enforcement maybe that they aren’t behaving themselves, maybe using drugs or are a bunch of out of control kids.
If white kids run around screaming and (I know blacks don’t believe this, because they think they have a lock on victimhood) they get hauled in too, and I know, because I’ve known plenty of white boys who have gotten in trouble for seemingly no reason at all, just picked on. But maybe they don’t have drugs on them as much or maybe mom and dad run down with a lawyer a bit faster.
Yeah. But why is it that back in those days black people seemed docile, calm, and with many seemingly being God-fearing people or is it just the way media portrays it? Maybe just maybe God intended for there to be segregation. Abraham Lincoln stated:
“there is a physical difference between the white and black races, which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality.”
The Indians are rode hard by state police though, especially those that live on road system. We once taught at Indian Village, the state boys would pull every Indian over they saw; always found booze. Cops knew the local Indian's vehicles and almost every Indian had been to prison over multiple DWIs. Sad thing was the Indians usually were married and had kids. Soon as they had been gone a month or so, their wife usually walked out while they were in the pokey; so hard on families. Most these same Indians had never had a wreck either.
I guess that's how the Africans get it too and just like the Indians they felt screwed over by the law. You get a reputation of criminal behavior, the law will come after ya hard and maybe they should.
Indeed, the gender divide is even more staggering. This is such horsecrap.
Here... use this fact and forget about the rest.
‘It's the culture’ that's the problem ...it is their ‘learned’ set of values, attitudes and behaviors. They just happen to be black which identifies them to those who have the right to protect their families and homes...and that right trumps their right for the equality they seek to be recognized as they would desire.
The culture has never disengaged from their dependency on Government, which initially gave them their freedom and also ‘special privileges’ to accommodate their freedom. Throughout the years programs and various other measures were added such as affirmative action and nondiscrimination laws. All 'Government' based not culture driven.
When you look at the Italians, and the Asians, Jews and most every other "culture" history you see that they helped each other rise rather than have government dictate to them what they can or not achieve or their successes. ....these cultures 'depended on each other' as a culture and do today as well..... Mexicans generally are an example of this( though our government is making them dependent now).... Mexicans for the most part are hard workers when they come here, and family oriented ...they assist each other.... Why is it that when a black person begins to advance himself other blacks try to pull him down or make it difficult for him or her to move above his lot?
There's a reason for this and it rests in the fact most programs and opportunities for blacks have been taken advantage of 'by middle class blacks' for the most part, NOT the under-class of blacks.
As the upper-class take advantage of these resources to further themselves they "move out of the black communities'....."Black Flight" as it's been said, (Similar to "White Flight" to the suburbs from the cities.),..... ..... So the upper class of Blacks continue to fair better and better while the lower level Blacks become worse who continue to seek Government dictates, handouts etc. and cry that they are not treated equally.
... They want the same respect and advantages the upper-class blacks have worked for 'but' without taking advantage of the programs and resources that are there. Thus stuck by their own demise....and continue with the mindset and orientation to seek and or blame Government and everybody else for their situations.
It has been said if the White-race had no racism at all, and it was non existent that this would NOT change their issues they need to address and work at themselves to gain the life and respect they desire....... It would not change Black test scores... or improve their savings rates... or the rates of their Business formations. ...It would not strengthen their families... or reduce black on black crime or legitimacy rates.....all these issues plague the black population and ones they must take the initiative not only to solve but to act on and 'help each other' to do so and create a system of accountability to one another they do not have as other cultures do.
However you still have what's been coined the "Race Merchants" who often misguide and make merchandise of the underclass....those like Sharpton and Jackson and many of the activists and politicians who 'Profit' from having a black underclass who provide for them political capital that justifies transfers of Government payments to....guess who...the upper-class Blacks in their communities.
( Note:....Much of what I wrote here is from a book about racism I recently read which left quite an impression on me in understanding the black community but have not quoted from it rather what I recalled....I cannot remember the title ( something about Racism) I do recall the author I believe is from India....a good read all around....and should be read by blacks IMO.

I just noticed something interesting. The wikipedia page for Rikers Island has been recently re-written. They removed the statistic that the prisoner population at any given time is overwhelmingly black, far in excess of their representation in NYC demographics, and the bulk of the article now is about “controversies” regarding the jail.

Why don’t they disclose the percentile of blacks in the Federal workforce?
13% of the population, 60-70% of the Federal workers
Yeah, the disparity in crime rates between blacks and whites is “staggering”, too, especially the rape rates (exponentially more black-on-wite rapes).
Some black women try to “even the score” re the rape disparity by making false accusations against white men. Those are the ones which get the headlines, not the spate of black males raping/murdering elderly white women.
