Some suburban St. Louis gun dealers have been doing brisk business, particularly among first-time buyers, as fearful residents await a grand jury's decision on whether to indict the police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown.
Metro Shooting Supplies, in an area near the city's main airport, reports selling two to three times more weapons than usual in recent weeks — an average of 30 to 50 guns each day — while the jury prepares to conclude its three-month review of the case that sparked looting and weeks of sometimes-violent protests in August.

There was a trial. Everyone black and involved looked like idiots because of it.
I’m hoping not. Between all the “guns selling like hotcakes” articles and the fact that the National Guard and whatnot is boots on the ground there, I’m hoping thugs would think twice about doing anything stupid. What worries me is that the Powers That Be have allowed protestors to spit in people’s faces (so long as said people are cops) and block traffic without permits and otherwise break the law, which may have empowered the worst of them.
Still, once the Grand Jury decision is out, I also expect national news interest to wane, meaning the protestors (and potential rioters) won’t have the media there encouraging them, so maybe things in general will quiet down. Also consider the poor national turnout for the “National Day of Rage” — if there are riots, I think they will be very local, and since the police and all are on the scene, hopefully they won’t get very far and won’t last very long.
Now the owners of all the stores need to sit on the roofs and shoot when one of these savages start breaking into their stores..The only reason for a riot would be for the free loaders to steal and sell the merchandise..
Wrong. Exponential increase in black on white crime around the United States. Chalked up as "personal violent crime" on the UCR stats. There is an ongoing war on whites, FRiend.
