Just a week after Dr. Craig Spencer was declared 'Ebola-free', The Daily Mail reports a woman, who had arrived from Guinea 18 days ago (and was on the NYC Ebola monitoring list), dropped dead in a Brooklyn hair salon this afternoon. FDNY sent their Special Operations and Hazmat units but she was declared dead at the scene. Witnesses said she was bleeding from the "face, nose, mouth, everything."

I can understand why they might prefer the white women after seeing what they’ve had to choose from for thousands of years past...

They should have forced the ebola czar in hiding to personally dispose of the body without a hazmat suit. Then, send him directly back to the oval office to debrief obola biden and the cabinet.

You are being disingenuous for some unknown reason. You ignore the fact she was being monitored for recent travel to Ebola-Land, and died, while bleeding from orifices. Ebola would be a reasonable concern. To imply otherwise is what the CDC would do.

You may walk around with Ebola for a short time but towards the end, you are in no condition to make it a hair appointment.

Fascinating though. She was a media personality. Suddenly “quiet”, wonder why that is?

If she had Ebola badly enough to die from it, I doubt she would be getting her hair done.

You read about flu deaths every year. But it is rarely trhe flu that actually kills, the weakness caused by the flu allows other disease (usually bacterial pneumonia) to get a foothold and do the actual killing.

Stress induced by disease can’t cause a heart attack?

“You are being disingenuous..”

No, I am simply addressing the question with statistics and facts.

She was in Guinea which has a population of 10,500,000 people. Of that around 1000 have Ebola. That means that .000095% of the people have Ebola. Thus the chances of contracting Ebola there is very slight.

Additionally, she had been out if the country for 18 days and had no Ebola symptoms.

And yes, sometimes when people die of heart attacks, they bleed from their mouth and nose.

In the case of Ebola, not if the disease is not apparent to anyone. You are pretty much dead before you die. You die from dehydration much of the time.
Even in cases like Spanish flue or other “bleed from everywhere” diseases, you are a mess before you die. If Ebola crept up and killed her azz that quickly, we are in trouble.
If I were doing the autopsy, it would be from Australia using a robot.

The woman’s body has tested negative for Ebola.

Do you still have concerns that she did have Ebola?
