The tragedy is, these completely logical policies are considered 'extreme' such is the state of the UK.
These titles are from the article and are exaggerated, worth a read for the specifics...
Full list:
1. Deport migrants 2. Legalise handguns 3. US Style NHS 4. Speak English on trains 5. Blow up wind farms 6. Make friends with Vladimir Putin 7. Bar HIV positive people from the UK

#3 seems to mean MARKETPLACE solutions with insurance companies offering plans....it does NOT appear to mean the disastrous Obamacare.

I certainly don’t agree with everything he says but I do wish we had a leader in government that talked frankly like this about immigration

I agree with all the items except I’m not so sure about #6 .... what was their reasoning on that one?

The Big Media in the UK that support the “Conservative Party” of David Cameron are trying to stir the pot to hurt UKIP in tomorrow’s parliamentary by-election by publishing articles like this.....

Not sure i know what a “ Rochester and Strood by-election” is and if the word BY is spelled wrong, I am not sure I want to know.
However the ideas seem pretty logical to me. I guess the British, after over a century of creeping socialism need to take small steps toward freedom. A giant leap might be too much for their system.

Very much support them but that last one seems rather pointless at this point. They’d do better to ban Muslims or just stop all immigration for a while. Which, of course, is what we should do. But I don’t get the idea of focusing on HIV, that’s so 20th century man.

UKIP appears to be on the right track for undermining the EU's power...particularly because the EU has no military force beyond the invasive non-conformist migrant population to enforce EU's power. There remains only the smallest window of opportunity for the UK to leave the EU in the dust... demonstrating to other EU nations, also fed up with the forced invasion of these militant migrants onto European soil to shut the EU down.
As for #5 . . .they may need to temporarily buy into that 'friendship with Putin' tactic in order to fully achieve point 1, but danger lies in the reality of UK's socialized government will too easily succumb and negate any opportunity for #2 (re-arming the citizenry).

Mark Reckless, the Ukip candidate in the Rochester and Strood by-election, has raised the prospect of European migrants being forced to leave Britain if Ukip wins power.Dude.
Now they are making up names outright.
Mr. Reckless's spokesperson, John TotallyOutOfControl, stated that Reckless would be appointing Janice WeAreManiacs to Judicial, Thomas ImmigrantHatingBastard to Border Control, and Samuel FecklessTwit to Treasury.

Self-preservation of your culture IS extreme to those that want to destroy it.
Remove the subversives, then remove their parasites, and take your country back.
All anathema to Leftist thinking.

People who have been in a new country for seven years and still think of the old country as home, who refuse to integrate, and who refuse to assimilate have no business staying in a country that doesn’t fit their values. After that much time, they should have a choice: assimilate and pass a citizenship test, or leave.

Handguns, or most of them, have been illegal on the UK mainland since 1997. They are perfectly legal in NI and in the Isle of Man. Handguns up to and inc .22 are legal, as are some other kinds. Most UK guns are and have always been rifles and shotguns. Handguns really only started being popular in the 80s due to US TV and film, the Dirty Harry films etc.

If you look closely at the article, you will notice the statements of "court controversy" never actually specify WHO they are courting controversy with. Also note that it is "experts" who condemn Mr Farage's policies, and "campaigners" who vilify his opinions. Heaven forbid that the viewpoints of ordinary people should be sought, or even that their existence should be recognised.
These articles are fine by me - they only reinforce how much the elitist political establishment is out of touch with the general public, and that will only mean UKIP grows ever stronger.
