The semen testing seemed a bit excessive. You would think a blood draw would be less embarrassing for everyone involved. In poorer countries it is probably cheaper and just as effective.

Reread the source. The blood test was negative. The semen test was positive and thus necessary. What would be embarrassing for everyone involved would be him starting an epidemic in India. It has been previously reported, even by the suddenly lame CDC, that the virus may persist in semen for months, without affecting the rest of the host, but with potential spread to others as a STD. It does eventually clear the semen without further care, probably over 3-6 months. BTW, that does make medical sense; the testicles are a special case in a variety of other ways.

Based on your knowledge of random males, would you bet your family's health on the promise of a random male to remain abstinent for 6 months? I wouldn't and considering the potential size of the stakes in India I'm glad they don't either. If you don't like it just avoid India until your six months are up.

Next step, find a really cute male ebola survivor for Obama to, um, embrace. Then sit back and watch the MSM try to spin their way out of the consequences.
