Orthodox Jewish man attacked at Brooklyn train station in apparent hate crime (Rabbi)

The 53-year-old, identified as an Israeli tourist, was called a ‘dirty bloody Jew’ and a ‘[expletive] Jew’ by his assailants, one of which beat him with his own umbrella in Williamsburg at the Marcy Ave. station before 4 p.m. Monday. The three fled on a Manhattan-bound train after a bystander intervened and was also attacked.

Three brutes beat a man while hurling anti-Semitic insults at him at a Brooklyn train station, cops said Tuesday.

The 53-year-old Orthodox Jewish man was waiting for a train at the Marcy Ave. station near S. Ninth St. in Williamsburg just before 4 p.m. Monday when one of the three suspects approached from behind and tried to take something out of his pocket.

When the victim whirled around and asked the stranger what he was doing, the brut called him a "dirty bloody Jew," cops said.

He then spit at the victim, grabbed the man's umbrella and beat him over the head with it before running off.

The victim pursued, but was attacked from behind by a second accomplice, who called him a "[expletive] Jew" and kicked him repeatedly, cops said....

The attacker is very likely recently descended from a country where primarily Oxford English is taught (any one of most countries outside of the U.S.A. now). "Bloody" is old slang from Chrstianity in the U.K., transitioned from the former, contracted swear phrase, "'s' blood" originally from "______'s blood."

Re. the mention from the Daily Mail earlier in the thread and “bloody” from the quote (Oxford English slang), they were most likely from a foreign nation with a black population—some of the oil/trade Muslims from a former domain of the former Empire.

I was going to say the exact same thing, though fortunately I've never been victimized by sleazebags like these. If it's not blacks or Arabs, I'd be shocked. They are the two most anti-Semitic groups in the US statistically, Arabs first and blacks second. And there are enough of both in Brooklyn to make that a very very likely probability.

The PC New York Daily News gives no description of the suspects. Wonder why?

By dismissing “typical NYC mugging(s)”, that implies that we have to put up with them.

Labeling name calling as a “hate crime” in and of itself is a violation of not only the First Amendment but also the Fourteenth Amendment’s equal protection clause (in earnest, not according to the twisted reinterpretations of the USSC).

I have been told on a few occasions that the hostility blacks have toward Jews is due to the slave trade in America.

Now, without researching it (which is dangerous), I’m pretty confident in saying there were not many Jewish slave/plantation owners in the South. Whatever number there was was miniscule at best. I’d say most were of English/Irish/Scottish descent. I call BS on that theory.

Arabs: Who DON’T they hate? The only group I can think of off the top of my head is the Nazis. Case closed there, too.

I remember the murder of Rabbi Zuber in Boston in 1953.

He was mugged and it was never solved.

It was the beginning of the push to get Jews out of Roxbury,Dorchester and Mattapan. They were replaced by blacks.

You are absolutely right. There were some Jews in the pre-Civil War South, but not very many, and most were in cities like Charleston, SC and New Orleans, and had urban-connected professions and occupations. Only a very few were large landowners.

Sounds like a pretty lame theory.

One I heard many years ago that seems more plausible is that the blacks who hate Jews see them as money grubbing landlords, or slumlords,who evict and have arrested blacks and only care about stealing their welfare checks.

Also that they closely relate to Palestinians ‘oppression’ who they can easily blame Jews for.

Irony is how liberal most Jews are.

I'm a bit late here but I use "moslem" too, at least that's was the term back in the 1970's when I was a kid. I know my mother used the term "Mohammaden" up until she passed away last year.
