With her history of drug and alcohol abuse, it sounds like she was already well-practiced in the art of hurting herself before the alleged rape.

Predators size up and target the young and fearful or the morally weak. The victims will keep silent, or if vocal it becomes a case of who ya gonna believe, the upstanding Bill Cosby or that drunk fame-seeking floozy?

I observed very early on in life that a whole lot of people have two faces. The ones who showed me their "other side" perceived correctly that I would keep it to myself. They've got that whole plausible deniability schtick worked out in order to blame and heap more abuse on the victim.

It was only decades later that I could grasp the level of abuse, deception and manipulation inherent in these sociopathic personality types.

If these allegations are true, I suspect that a lot of these women just accepted the abuse as the price for being young, dumb and naive (starstruck, hoping for fame, or just too clueless to know to avoid certain situations).

Now that they are older, they *know* it was the fault of a powerful opportunist who was old enough to know exactly what he was doing.

Too bad Monica Lewinski is still stuck on stupid.

I was just curious as to why this has come back up.

These incidents happened quite awhile ago.

Cosby would have been an useful endorsement for Dr. Carson.

He has emerged as a spokesman against the antisocial behavior (as tolerated by black parents) being committed by black children. Social progressives want him silenced. It is the Herman Caine treatment all over again!

The best way to know if something’s phony or not is to watch CNN. If they’re pushing something—guaranteed it’s phony.

CNN is pushing the “Cosby’s suspicious silence” trick. I don’t believe them.

This method never fails. Works for any liberal news source. Sometimes Fox plays the same game.

I don’t know what Cosby did, neither do you.

But the broader narrative is what you should watch out for. When the pattern is what we’re seeing here, there’s something else the media wants.

They don’t care about Janice Dickenson or what happened to her. They care about the effects of the narrative. For some reason entirely unconnected to what happened to these women, the media wants Cosby taken down in the public eye.

I’m just not going along with it.

How obvious can they be.

If he denies it, he’s guilty. Knowing this, he doesn’t say anything. Smart move.

So they reach into their bag of manipulative tricks, pulling out the old “let’s use his strength against him” move.

I’m not buying their narrative, that’s all.

This has come back up because a comedian named Hannibal Buress told a 'Cosby is a rapist' joke on the stage of the Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia on the night of October 16, 2014.

Cosby is famously a Philadelphia native.

Philly media reported the joke the next day. Internet media reported the joke the next day. A patron uploaded a video of the joke to YouTube. Howard Stern invited Buress to appear on Stern's radio show. The video appeared across the internet. This is all during the period October 17-21.

Since then, it's growed like Topsy. Everyone and his sister interviewed Buress or reported on the joke, which Buress had put in his act about seven months ago, but nobody paid attention until Buress told the joke in Philly.

In his joke, which a zillion people saw on YouTube and other sites, Buress says "it's not funny. Google 'Cosby rape.' You'll get more hits than you do with #$*@& Hannibal Buress." People Googled "Cosby rape." Members of the media Googled 'Cosby rape." Jaws dropped.

People of a certain generation said "oh, yeah, I'd forgotten . . . "

The media began reviving old, old stories and people began believing that women who came forward 30 years ago, plus or minus, were now coming forward for the first time.

Other women began coming forward, and here we are.

I do not watch CNN or any other news channel for that matter.

I’m saying what I need from him if he wants me to believe that he’s not involved in this.

If he remains silent, I’m going to continue to think that he is behaving suspiciously.

She was stunning; and would have aged gracefully, and still been beautiful today.

I’ll never understand why women do this stuff to themselves.
It seems to be an inability to accept that one phase of life is over; and now we have to adapt to the next stage, and enjoy the unique benefits of that time, too.

Hey, conservative men here who are trashing the victim, how are you different from Clinton’s “bimbo alert” patrol?

Excellent point!

This post from Travis McGee is good>>>

“As we talked in the living room of Hef’s mansion in Chicago, Negro comic Bill Cosby shuffled by in a slipover, miniskirt-length, gold bathrobe...”

Yep, I think that was where he developed his kink to full flower. The playboy mansions were full of young wannabee models who were “available” as they tried to latch onto fame to further their careers. I have no doubt that Cosby took full advantage, and probably at some level really despises pretty white girls. (See his anti-white stuff above.)

I think when he was too old for the Playboy mansion (and it was the wrong image even by the 80s for him) he moved on to seducing/”mentoring” young actresses and then drugging them. But what probably really got him off was that he was betraying, humiliating etc. these pretty young white models. “See, you’re nothing. I’m better than you, even if you are young, white, and beautiful.”
