It has always seemed that vote fraud, regardless of how its done, is inherently un-American and contemptuous of the basic concept of freedom and human rights.

How the vote cheaters are able to rationalize this dishonorable practice is hard to understand.

Agreed 100% with the first statement, as any true American patriot who supports a constitutional republic would. But the sad truth is that overall ethics and morality (and intelligence) in American society have declined in the last several decades, caused by left-oriented public education and lesser intelligence of the younger generations on average. Without a substantial level of intelligence, historical knowledge, ethics, and morality within a population, that population is susceptible to frittering away its birthright as heirs to the "last best hope of mankind."

Without that moral and ethical base and historical knowledge and intelligence, cheaters value political office and power above the maintenance of the free and fair election procedures that have been the foundation of our American freedoms and system of governance since the founding.

People should be able to vote for whatever candidate or party they want to vote for. We need more parties in this country.

“Colorado Republicans are extremely fortunate that they could gain a clear-cut victory in the Senate race under such adverse conditions.”

I agree. The rats were able to steal the Gov race, and control of the lower house of legislature.

There are plenty of third parties, but you need better funding for them, if they are ever to be more than also-rans. So support open elections and finance reforms. Get rid of contribution limits, and make all contributions a matter of public record.

An honest review of our history shows many eras of only a minority level of intelligence, historical knowledge, ethics, and morality within a population.

Prior to and during the Revolution only 1/3 or so valued Liberty and supported or participated to free America.

During most of the 1800’s a great percentage of Americans more resembled pirates (practicing libertarians?) than intelligent patriots. Luckily American farmers did mostly reflect “American” values of honesty and work ethic.

America’s current populous now actually seems to be more interested in intelligence, historical knowledge, ethics, and morality in greater percentage than even during the Revolution, but not yet any majority. This gives me faith that the pendulum may very well be again swinging back to the vision of the Founding Fathers and away from the anti-American “liberal progressives” and anarchists.

You are certainly more optimistic than most. Certainly, what we have now in Washington in the White House, Congress, and even the Supreme Court does NOT reflect a knowledgeable and virtuous population.

Tonight's forecast Obama executive order on immigration emphasizes the decadence. Not only is this current president acting in defiance of the constitutional separation of powers by writing law himself, but the substantive content of his executive order will lead to even further decadence by promoting even a greater influx of uneducated, unskilled individuals with, for the most part, no understanding of the American republican constitutional tradition and no willingness to learn about it!

I am optimistic, but not unrealistically when faced with harsh facts.
A not so small and growing populous are more interested in intelligence, historical knowledge, ethics, and morality.

The pendulum of American politics has swung back and forth several times, that is the Law of Nature in a homogenized immigrant country. Agreed, nobama has and is trying to swing it outside its normal path. Will he prove successful? I don’t think so and the poor illegals now ignorantly flipping us the bird will soon hate the action he just took for once he is bridled or booted, they will be in a much less sympathetic position and will pay a heavy price.
