President Obama’s Labor Day weekend trips for fundraising and personal business cost taxpayers $1,539,402.10 in transportation expenses alone, according to records from the United States Air Force obtained by Judicial Watch.
According to Judicial Watch, the $1,539,402.10 total included: flights for fundraising trips to Westchester, N.Y., and Providence, R.I., which cost $527,192.50; transportation for a round trip flight from D.C. to Westchester to attend a wedding, which cost $358,490.90; and another flight to Milwaukee, Wis., to speak at “Laborfest 2014,” which cost $653,718.70.
These taxpayer-funded flights helped Obama attend two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee in New York; another fundraiser in Providence, where tickets cost up to $32,400; a high-profile wedding of the White House chef Sam Kass to MSNBC host and liberal commentator, Alex Wagner; and finally a trip to Milwaukee to deliver a campaign speech at Laborfest 2014, according to Judicial Watch. …

This crap needs to stop. If a trip includes fundraising in any way, the party of the current president needs to pay for it.
I hate having my tax dollars go towards attacking me and my principles. I imagine the other side feels the same way. Something we can come together on.
