Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem has acknowledged that the Dutch government drew up plans for what to do if the single European currency had collapsed during the summer of 2012.
In an interview with RTL television on Tuesday, Dijsselbloem said there was a plan to return to the Dutch guilder in a worst-case scenario.

Why wouldn’t they prep for it? I would imagine they all are. Doesn’t mean it will or won’t happen, but having a contingency plan should be everyone’s policy.

Why monetary and trade union?
The whole idea behind a monetary union was subjugation of the member states, especially by one member.
Never under estimate the Dutch.
True. Not having a contingency plan is a dereliction of duty.
