Dutch admit prepping for eurozone breakup in 2012

Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem has acknowledged that the Dutch government drew up plans for what to do if the single European currency had collapsed during the summer of 2012.

In an interview with RTL television on Tuesday, Dijsselbloem said there was a plan to return to the Dutch guilder in a worst-case scenario. …

Why wouldn’t they prep for it? I would imagine they all are. Doesn’t mean it will or won’t happen, but having a contingency plan should be everyone’s policy.

Keep those plans up to date.
An European Monetary and Trade union was a good idea, a communist uber-government regulating and micromanaging everything was not.

Why monetary and trade union?

The whole idea behind a monetary union was subjugation of the member states, especially by one member.
