Landrieu’s paid yakker doesn’t even deny the substance of the ad: Mary Landrieu has been in Washington a very long time and that experience has made her into a different person than the one they used to “know”. That’s a very effective message, and hard to refute since it’s obviously true. No wonder they want to change the subject.
