They are searching desperately for a genetic defect which would lead to the extinction of the blood line if it existed.

Truth: there may very well be random mutations which, from time to time, lead to an aberration. Those aberrations don’t reproduce, preventing the mutation from being passed on to the next generation.

Scientists won’t be able to find them, because they appear and then disappear.

I agree with you. If there were a gene for being gay, it would by the laws of nature, result in fewer gays because it would mean they cannot reproduce naturally. If it weren’t for unnatural methods, homosexuals wouldn’t be able to make any new generations. That’s why they have to recruit.

Why can’t these scientists study how many gays and lesbians were traumatized sexually before they were adults? Like Lena Dunham’s younger lesbian sister, I’d bet most of them had something terrible happen to them at a young age.
