Actually, McDaniel won in the primary and lost in the runoff.

As long as GOP voters turn out, we will win.

Actually, McDaniel won in the primary but lost in the runoff.

My point. He thought he had it after the first primary, there was an excellent poll, and his staff let their guard down just a little. And Cochran came up with the sleazy despicable campaign we can never forgive or forget. You think Landrieu isn't as capable of being ruthless? At least Cassidy seems to be on his toes.

McDaniel had a comfortable lead among Republican voters. McDaniel couldn’t imagine that the Republican Party would recruit illegal Democrat Party voters, to win the runoff. Haley Barbour called this in an Orwellian way, “expanding the electorate”. Barbour did this because Cochran was certain to lose among Republicans. I don’t see how McDaniel could be blamed for his defeat with illegal votes or that this means he slacked off.

What if McDaniel had gone after blacks and others who didn't vote for the first time around in the primary, but in an honest way? We have to be ready for any dirty trick from RINOs. We've seen it with Murkowski, the VA governors race, and now a new low against McDaniel. What I'm saying is Cassidy has to be ready for anything....no trick is too dirty for established US Senators and/or RINO faves!

They hate us more than they hate the status quo, now hopefully broken.
