I remember when women first started entering the plants.
It was when they also started entering a lot of new fields.
RIP.
This kind of thing happens on the chemical coast in the Fall and Spring when there are abrupt temperature changes. Hot pipes and pressure vessels with weak spots get pushed over the edge.
when I worked there in the 70’s at this time of year there would be an occasional ground shaking followed by a distant boom as a section of a plant went down. Meant more work for the turnaround crews that we worked with.
I hope they sue the you know what out of them.
