With House freshmen reporting to Washington this week for orientation, three Congressional races from last week still remain too close to call.
In Arizona, Gabby Giffords former seat is still up for grabs, with the re-match between endangered Democrat Rep. Ron Barber and Republican former Air Force Col. Martha McSally now moving to a recount.
Two California districts that have dealt with severe droughts are still waiting for races to be called, both including fierce challenges from Republicans against incumbents.
It all means the Republican wave this election may still be able to nab three more seats before the end of this week.

Has the senate race in Alaska been called yet?
Yes, Dan Sullivan defeated the Dem who refuse to concede.
There is no godly reason in the world, that any state should take more the 48 hours to declare a winner. IMHO.....the longer the state takes to declare the official winner, the longer the opportunity for cheating expands. You can bet that low life, Obamabot, nutcase, liberal, Democrat, Ron Barber is doing everything illlegal he can to steal the election from Martha McSally!!!
IMHO......there should be no such votes other the straight voting in ur district polling place. If you are too lazy to correct your address....etc. you should be denied the right to vote and voter ID should be a nationwide mandate to curb voter fraud!!!
. . . and the republican’s margin of victory continues to close at a nearly statistically impossible rate.
It hasn’t been called yet, but all the news media have said Begish is too far behind to make it up with the votes left to count. So that is another R pickup.
So the Democrats are voting AGAINST the woman? Sexists.
(/sarc)
They call it “Fail-Safe Voting”. What could go wrong? /s
So if we win LA we pick up nine seats correct.
We almost ran the table if that is so. New Hampshire
being the only one we did not win (where we had a chance)
correct?
Polls did not show how Virginia was going to be, so GOP gave no $$$ to Ed Gillespie
Correct, LA will make 9.
And the fact that low information voters confused Mark Warner for John Warner, it could have gone to Ed Gillespie.
It looks to me like Ed Gillespie ran a very fine campaign
Note that if misguided voters hadnt twisted the arms of state lawmakers to ratify the ill-conceived 17th Amendment that the states wouldnt be counting tens of thousands of votes to find out who won a Senate seat.
Also consider that if state lawmakers still controlled the Senate that Obama would possibly have been impeached by the House and subsequently kicked out of office by the Senate by now.
If the Rats steal any of these close House races in the 'official' call at the state level, the GOP controlled House has the undisputed authority to seat the GOP candidate. McSally's opponent has said he would go to court to have 700 thrown out provisional ballots allowed back in the recount tally. With McSally holding a slim 161 vote lead, Franken rules could steal the seat. I'd love to see Boehner seat her anyway. Same for Tacherra and even for RINO Ose. The Rats have done just that in the past and have provided all the needed precedents to sustain it. For that matter, if they wanted to use 'executive amnesty' level raw political power they could, in principle, refuse to seat Pelosi, etc. in favor of some token challenger. Or even better, defer seating her pending some made up investigation, and conduct that investigation as slowly as Obama responds to other investigations.
Has the senate race in Alaska been called yet?
***************
Only by AP. The State of Alaska hasn’t made an offical call.
Republicans never win the close ones. Dems cheat
You have a truly devious mind. Are you sure you were never a Dem?
Boehner!!?? BWAHAAHAAHAAAA!
The only thing that chickensheet will do is maybe express his "regrets" and then seat the cheaters!
not the way I look at it.
there were 7 states in which Romney beat Obolo.
(assuming we win in LA)
we ran the table,
plus pickups in Iowa and Colo.
