An anchor for Fox Business Network who used to work for CNBC told viewers that her superiors at the network "silenced" her reporting on Obamacare, telling her she was "disrespecting the office of the president" by pointing out that Obamacare's math didn't add up.

Fox Business Network anchor Melissa Francis said she was “silenced” by CNBC when management told her she was “disrespecting the office of the president” by reporting about Obamacare.
Francis highlighted Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber’s comments about the “stupidity” of American voters and the administration intentionally misleading the public about what’s in the law and said in her experience, some of the media helped to hide the truth about the law.
“It’s shocking, but it doesn’t surprise me because when I was at CNBC, I pointed out to my viewers that the math of Obamacare simply didn’t work,” Francis said Friday. “Not the politics by the way, but just the basic math. And when I did that, I was silenced.”
Francis pointed out that she has an economics degree from Harvard University and said she was simply trying to explain the math behind Obamacare to her viewers — the same math Gruber has candidly admitted the administration tried to hide.
“I said on the air that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their pre-existing conditions without raising the price on everyone else,” Francis said. “I pointed out that it couldn’t possibly be true that if you like your plan, you can keep it. That was a lie. And in facts, millions of people had their plans canceled.”
Francis said she was called into a meeting with CNBC management (she would not specify names) and told she was “disrespecting the office of the president.”

Claim: CNBC pressured to tone down Obama criticism
When GE CEO Jeff Immelt and NBC Universal president Jeff Zucker met recently with CNBC executives and on-air talent, was there really pressure from the higher-ups to be less tough on Obama?
It’s a very serious charge, but the New York Post makes it. Reporting on the meeting today, one source claims that the network’s been urged to tone down the Obama-bashing.
“It was an intensive, three-hour dinner at 30 Rock which Zucker himself was behind,” a source familiar with the powwow told us. “There was a long discussion about whether CNBC has become too conservative and is beating up on Obama too much. There’s great concern that CNBC is now the anti-Obama network. The whole meeting was really kind of creepy.”
One topic under the microscope, our insider said, was on-air CNBC editor Rick Santelli’s rant two months ago about staging a “Chicago Tea Party” to protest the president’s bailout programs — an idea that spawned tax protest tea parties in other big cities, infuriating the White House. Oddly, Santelli was not at the meeting, while Jim Cramer was, noted our source, who added that no edict was ultimately handed down by the network chieftains.

My sister was a person I loved dearly. She was the only other person who understood what it was like to see our mom angry. The difference between me and her was that she let mom’s words get to her. Tiffany lost all her self confidence growing up. Instead of trying to tame our mom, she adding fuel to the fire. I never understood why she did, sometimes it would annoy me that she did, but I always worried for her. Tiffany started drinking and got into drugs at a young age. I knew about it, but I never told my parents. I never thought she would ever get hurt from it. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Tiffany got in a terrible car accident when she was a teenager. Everyone is the car was drunk. It was so hard to see the condition that she was in, but she was extremely lucky. It could have been a lot worse. Once Tiffany was released from the hospital, our mom always picked fights with her. She gave her such a hard time, but not really about her drinking. She gave Tiffany a hard time about everything that she had to deal with now because of the accident that happened. Tiffany knew she had it coming, but she didn’t a word, instead she sort of curled up into a protective ball, pretending that our mother wasn’t even talking to her.
When Tiffany was barely 30, her drinking problem got so bad that she had to go into rehab. That was the first thing I heard when I got back from my honeymoon. I was extremely worried about her, and hoped that rehab would really help her. Later, she was released, but things weren’t much better. She was more fidgety and seemed scared. A few weeks later, Tiffany returned to rehab. All my mom could see was how much it was going to cost, not that her daughter needs some serious help. After being released they all came to visit me and Wray. Tiffany and I got some time to ourselfs and we talked. I realized how scared she was. She had our dad by her side all the time, but she wanted comfort from our mom. Something we never got. It was then I realized how much our mom hurt her, how broken Tiffany was.
Because of money issues my parents and Tiffany had to move out of the house they were currently living in. Tiffany and my dad found a nice small place while my mom stayed with her sister. I thought things were going to calm down now and everything was going to be alright. I was wrong. My dad called me one night, and the moment he spoke I knew something was wrong. Tiffany was dead. Alone in the bathroom, Tiffany passed away.
I wrote a letter to my mom telling her that I had had enough. The cycle was going to end with me.

I am so proud of you, Melissa. I wish I would’ve been there more for you guys. I’m so sorry. I’m so grateful that you came out on top in this situation and decided you’d end the cycle. You are an amazing mom and a wonderful person. Remember that I’m always here for you and that I love you very much.

I am also very proud of you. You are so strong Melissa. The way you handled everything was truly amazing. Tiffany would be very proud. I know you miss her very much, as do the rest of us. Just remember if you ever want to talk, I’m here for. You’re a wonderful mom, wife, and person. I think you are doing a lot of good by sharing your story. I love you!

CNBC host Rick Santelli slammed GE CEO Jefrrey Immelt’s new found concern over how the explosion of “major regulations” will negatively impact economic growth Monday on “Squawk on the Street.”
Jeffrey Immelt, Chair of the President’s Council of Jobs and Competitiveness (formerly the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board), wrote in a letter to GE shareholders that increases in “major regulations” and tax reform uncertainty will hinder “capital investment” in the United States.
Santelli noted the irony of the letter given Immelt’s relative silence during the crafting of Obamacare and Dodd-Frank, the two foremost pieces of legislation responsible for the “major regulations” Immelt now feels are a threat to the American economy:
RICK SANTELLI: The other thing that gelled today is Jeff Immelt, our fearless leader of a bygone day. That’s just changed recently. On the big letter that he wrote to shareholders I would like to pull out one sentence, let’s put it on the screen: “…until we solve for these constraints, it is hard to see that the U.S. will return to its full growth potential.” Obviously they’re both talking roughly about the same thing. Here’s my problem. Where was everybody two or three or four years ago? Dodd-Frank passed in 2010. Mr. Immelt running one of the greatest companies on the planet in form of GE. Well, he was the Chair of the Jobs and Competitiveness group that the president had.
The question is, who would make a better press secretary in the Ted Cruz administration — Melissa Francis or Sharyl Attkisson?
Those are the only two journalists who have had the courage to speak the truth to their MSM masters, and both were silenced.
Imagine those women being able to the speak the truth every day in the White House to the liberal propagandists of the New York Times, Washington Post, and what’s left of the liberal TV news operations.

This media interference for Obama reminds me of “Planet of the Apes”, where only apes can use the word “no”. Any humans is beaten for saying “no” to an ape. Today only liberals are allowed to discuss Obama’s agenda; anyone else is racist for even discussing it...
