Stop it! Stop it right now! Please don't refer to Jonathan Gruber as an Obamacare architect. He actually had a relatively minor role in the Obamacare scheme of things.
Since Politico is now unable to ignore the Jonathan Gruber scandal as they tried to do earlier this week, they have switched gears to craft a story by Politico health reporter Paige Winfield Cunningham to portray him as much less than an architect of Obamacare. Ironically, this same reporter as recently as July also referred to Gruber as an Obamacare architect. But the damaging Gruber videos keep popping up. The preening self-serving Gruber loved nothing better than to show-off his intellectual superiority, gesticulating wildly, as a camera clicked away.
The University of Pennsylvania has now pulled the original video of Gruber’s remarks (in which he disses Americans as stupid), from its website.
No doubt if it were possible, Democratic staffers, Politburo-style, would be scrubbing Gruber from photographs.
Within hours of Nancy Pelosi’s asserting she certainly didn't know who the cretin Gruber was ---bloggers had unearthed her earlier comments.
In the throes of "writing the bill" Nancy is caught on video, uttering Gruber's name, recommending him as a dependable “healthcare expert” for Obamacare.
Politico is Grubering by saying Gruber was a nobody.
Politico has been seized by Grubergate, and they are responding like all Grubering pseudo journalists.

For being a nobody, Herr Gruber was certainly featured at a lot of important ObamaCare conferences. And he managed to get millions of taxpayer dollars from federal and individual state coffers for his expertise in selling ObamaCare to the “stupid American taxpayers.” I’d say that qualifies him for “architect” status.
Mitt Romney was the architect. But Gruber brought statist health care into the big time.
Politico would be funny if it was not so desperately sad.

Four U.S. states and the federal government (read taxpayers) have padded Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber's wallet to the tune of $5.9 million since 2000, including millions connected to his work on the Affordable Care Act.
We need investigations---to see how our tax dollars changed hands---and landed into Gruber's pockets. The disdainful, preening Gruber was paid tax dollars to spin his web of lies...and to reiterate his contempt for taxpayers who are footing the bills.
Even more disturbing is the massive, multi-billion-dollar slush fund the self-serving Gruber hid from "stupid" Americans in Obamacare. Gruber made dam sure it was kept hidden from us stupid taxpayers.

Four U.S. states and the federal government have padded Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber’s wallet to the tune of $5.9 million since 2000, including millions connected to his work on the Affordable Care Act.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology economist has been pilloried for collecting $392,600 from the Obama administration’s Health and Human Services Department while the law was being written, but that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Gruber’s consulting contracts give states and the feds access to a proprietary formula that can determine how changes in a health care system’s structure will affect costs.
The ‘Gruber Microsimulation Model’ is what he sold to the White House. It helped Obama’s team anticipate what the influential Congressional Budget Office (CBO) would say about various features of the final plan – and whether their costs would officially be considered ‘taxes.’

For a person who supposedly did nothing on the ObamaCare project, he certainly got paid a lot of money.
I wish that I could receive $400,000 from Obama's federal government for doing nothing like Gruber did.

Gruber is only one person ... but his self-superior attitude, his condescension, his ‘we know better” attitude, the zeal to force collective conformity on everyone even if it takes lies and deceit ... that is the central thesis of Progressivism ...
