I don’t read this as an approval nor an invitation directed at Obama. Boehner is simply asking the bumbler to give the Congress a chance to present something to him BEFORE he does anything on his own.
It makes no difference if Boehner said “do what you have to do” because clearly no one can STOP the president from doing what he wants. Whatever Obama does may or may not remain in effect but as I said no one can prevent him from issuing an EO.

Instead of saying “it’s like the election never happened,” we should say, “it’s as if their victory validates their pre-election agenda.” Which, of course, it does. They were Marxist-lite, we couldn’t defeat them in primaries, but we still voted for them anyway, why the heck would they change?
