The Army is moving to discharge a decorated combat pilot who intervened to stop two lesbian officers from showing excessive affection on the dance floor at an official ball at Fort Drum, N.Y.
Lt. Col. Christopher Downey ended up being convicted administratively of assaulting a soldier trying to film the kissing and grabbing. Col. Downeys lawyer, Richard Thompson, says his client merely pushed down the camera to prevent photos that could end up on social media.

What if it were two a male and female officer making out on the dance floor like two horny cattle?
Need more evidence to judge guilt or innocence.
No military member has to accept Article 15 punishment. Accepting it is often a better alternative than facing a court martial, but it’s still a choice that can be made by the accused. I think in this case, I would have demanded a court martial. I bet that the court martial would never have happened.
that poor bike.
In Obama’s military, highly trained, enormously skilled and battle-tested pilots are worth less than lesbian exhibitionists.
Oh my God!
I’m no historian, but I don’t remember any travelling circus ever winning a battle.
This episode merely affirms what anyone who has served in the military (if they can be honest with themselves) has known for a very long time, namely, senior military brass overwhelmingly tends to share one essential skill, namely, that of being particularly adept political shape-shifters...ready standing ready to do whatever they feel they must to further and or protect their own careers, even if includes indefensible acts of cowardice like this. It simply comes with the territory.
Do you think that a republican administration could change all this?
Can all the homo-friendly laws be repealed in the future or will we have to get accustomed to seeing men in uniform French kissing each other and women, likewise?
“....the pensions keep supposed moral and ethical and Christian men/women bending over for increasingly obscene behavior....”
.
It is a hard choice to make when you are near retirement.
Clearly the two women violated UCMJ and (if article is correct) the Colonel was protecting them by not having photo taken of the offense. For his trouble, he is kicked out!! This is why PFC Manning was able to infiltrate sensitive missions and post secrets... no one wanted to discipline or court martial him and be accused of discriminating against a gay person.
“The Army is moving to discharge a decorated combat pilot”.....
Another ranking officer dumped by the administration as part of their purge. Damn everyone of them in the administration.
You ask a good question.
This pilot’s representatives should make a stink about this, as well as the Armed Services Committees in both houses.
They need to launch an investigation and put some heat on the Pentagon about it.
Let the gay Obola defend the cashiering of this good officer.
The Thomas More Society is defending this pilot with a lawsuit.
Besides, when did it become permissible for a junior officer to make out with a senior officer at a dance? There were other issues, including disregard of the uniform, going on which would not have been acceptable behavior otherwise.
Gay’s want to be equal? Fine, let it start right here.
Not unless there is a conservative President and a conservative Senate for long enough to replace several of the current Supreme Court Justices.
The Constitution says whatever 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices say it says. Currently, 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices say that sodomy and same sex marriages are constitutional rights.
I can't find sodomy or same sex marriage anywhere in my copy of the Constitution, but apparently they are somewhere in the emanations and penumbra section, right below the freedom from religion clause.
Oh, please! The least you could do is put up a warning before posting something that disgusting.
