The Army is moving to discharge a decorated combat pilot who intervened to stop two lesbian officers from showing excessive affection on the dance floor at an official ball at Fort Drum, N.Y.
Lt. Col. Christopher Downey ended up being convicted administratively of assaulting a soldier trying to film the kissing and grabbing. Col. Downeys lawyer, Richard Thompson, says his client merely pushed down the camera to prevent photos that could end up on social media.

Nation in impending state of collapse.
The freak show goes on and on.
That’s called a PDA (Public Display of Affection). It’s not appropriate for men and women and uniform, it’s not appropriate for women in uniform.
Part of Obama’s vast plan to demoralize, and thus destroy the military.
Think of the millions invested to train this pilot.
I loathe this Administration.
Straight or Gay, excessive PDA (public display of affection) is not allowed (or didn’t used to be). Apparently, under Obama’s military is is allowed for gays and probably soon transponders). GD dems love to use the military for social engineering.
all that money is the death of this nation....
This is a military I’m expected to support?
A military that does things like this? A military that regards two perverted homos as the same legal and cultural equivalent as a husband-and-wife? And in this case, even grants a greater license to them for grotesquely inappropriate public conduct?
I hope there’s video out there of these two bull dykes making-out.
For the public, that will seal the deal on overturning this officer’s discharge proceedings.
I've been telling people the last 5 years. I would NOT recommend your son to join Obama's military. Political Correctness is often fatal.
This will be coming to airports, train stations, hopitals, near you. You will not be allowed to distinguish between a wife welcoming her husband affectionately in public anywhere and two deviants putting on a grotesque display.
Eff’ed Up priorities writ large.
None of this foolishness was tolerated when I served. Maybe behind closed doors, but the freaks weren’t given free license to put their perversions on display.
I will never understand how such a small percentage of the mentally ill are riding roughshod over the rest of us.
Enough. Seriously. Enough!
Well....................?
Yahoo has a related article that is surprisingly good (especially for Yahoo).
I found a number of things interesting (and not in a good way) about the proceedings in the article. Here were two that jumped out at me. (Bear in mind, I’m a civilian, and my understanding of Article 15 is pretty limited).
-a “Show Cause Board” after the hearing was convened. That board, after multiple interviews with witnesses, said that was not a preponderance of evidence of any wrong doing, and voted unanimously to retain the Colonel.
-Downey’s counsel was persuaded by the General’s legal team not to appear. From the Yahoo story: “Downey appeared without his assigned military lawyer because she was told by General Milley’s lawyer that the hearing would merely be a “commanders’ conversation.”
