A federal judge has struck down South Carolina's ban on same-sex marriage.
U.S. District Judge Richard Gergel on Wednesday ruled against the state's constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. But marriage licenses can't be immediately handed out. Gergel gave state Attorney General Alan Wilson a delay until Nov. 20.

A Federal Marriage Amendment would stop them. They can’t rule the constitution unconstitutional.
Far past time to start impeaching or at least threatening it for judges who overturn the will of the people!!!!!!
scotus can rule something unconstitutional if they decide one section of the constitution violates another section. they could potentially support one and reject another.
for example if an abortion ban amendment would pass, a case would be brought to scotus, and they’d determine the amendment violates the imaginary right to it somewhere in the first amendment.
same with an amendment legalizing slavery.
depends on the makeup of the court.
A judge just told MI, also that our law was unstitutional and gays must be allowed to marry.
Since when is slavery illegal? I mean, the entire productive segment of our society is forced into servitude and subjected to wage theft so that an entitled class may be artificially supported.
It can be done and all bases covered. We should not let the left get away with lying and stealing the rights of the people to have their say. THEY made it a federal issue and now we must answer. Otherwise you are looking at a situation as in North Carolina where the best judges resign rather than support homosexual marriage. It is a win win for them unless we stand up to it.
If it does maybe we should fly our flags at half-mast,in mourning for our country. Or maybe upsidedown as a distress signal.
:)
Will South Carolina Appeal?

With a name like that, he’s likely another liberal Jew who thinks he’s entitled to re-engineer American society at a fundamental level as they have since the 40’s. I find it amusing that Muslims are using the same tactics now against these Jewish elites.
I’m sorry my FRiends, but the fat lady has sung...IMHO, our Republic has long been dead; we are only now seeing just how long the carrion will last. We’ve not lasted longer than the 200 year average I’m afraid, because the People have long ago lost their teeth (and our Constitution never had any).
Look at Roe vs. Wade. 40 years later, settled science upon report after report: life in the womb begins at conception. Yet, still the SCotUS have ‘written’ this ‘right’, and never righted the wrong (and 30+MILLION have paid). No State Amendment, nor I believe any Const. Amendments, could be passed to make it otherwise.
Even when the (R) held D.C., there was not a PEEP from Congress. No talk of even taking the issue away from the Courts (as they rightfully can).
NO talk from the States re-affirming the 9th/10th Amendments
NO action from We the People. No angry throngs of People with firearms, bats, pitchforks, tar, feathers and rails...
But here, on THIS issue, the tide will somehow turn?? What else needs be slipped through (’deemed’ or gaveled) before the light finally turns on? Has the Cryer or Gobble given ANY indication they have anything but capitulation (their ‘jobs’) on their mind?? No budget, no more ‘shutdowns’, talk of amnesty, etc....and this from a tidal wave of (R) backing!!
Sorry folks, hunker down, reign in the $$ going to D.C., teach your children well; but the war is over. I only hope the pendulum swings mightily before I finally slip this mortal coil...but I doubt even the hope.
The headline is a lie. They never banned marriage, not real marriage anyways
I’m am not a conspiracy kind of guy, but to have every judge rule that same sex marriage is unconstitutional is conspiratorial. Prove me wrong.....
“Hmmmmmm, I wonder where Graham stands on this issue.”
Graham doesn’t stand, he bends over.
judges are lawyers and these lawyers have been indoctrinated into the born that way myth.
