AFGE is proud to defend the rights of tens of thousands of veterans working in the federal and D.C. governments. Our members work to serve our nation’s veterans each and every day, as nurses, doctors, medical assistants, claims representatives and many others. We are dedicated to providing world-class service to the veterans and we could not be more proud to do so.
But that's just my opinion.
I used to know a poem about a parasite feasting on the bottom of a larger parasite that was feeding on its host.
It’s something like that ....
Dear AFGE,
As a former ‘member’, (when I was hired in NY, you either joined or forfeited your employment), you can take your ‘auspicious moment’, and your declaration to defend your employees/members, and sit on it.
You and your organization was instrumental in ensuring The Queer-In-Charge, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, his election and re-election, to the detriment of the nation, and the destruction of individual Americans’ freedoms, contrary to the sacrifices my military brothers and sisters have given, for the securing of Freedom and Liberty.
