Some observations on the election:
1) This was a wave, folks. It will be a benchmark for judging waves, for either party, for years.
2) In seriously contested races, GOP candidates were generally younger, more vigorous, more sunny and optimistic than Democrats.
3) The combination of Obamas low job approval and Harry Reids virtual shutdown of the Senate insured a Republican Senate majority.
4) Democratic territory has been reduced to the bastions of two core groups black voters and gentry liberals.
5) In many states including many carried twice by Obama Republicans have been governing successfully, at least in the estimation of their voters.
6) The Obama Democrats labor under the illusion that a beleaguered people hunger for an ever-bigger government.
7) This election was a repudiation of the big-government policies of the Obama Democrats.

WOW!
Someone gets it and admits it.
The young and diverse candidates will set us up nicely for the next 20 years. If we can get even 20-30% of the black vote in a national election, Dems would be toast. Glad the fake ‘war on women’ is over as well.
Now to undo the damage Obama has already done...
He tried to tell America using the empty chair---
Clint saw right through the poseur.
<><> Some say Republicans have a 100-year majority.
<><> Mega-star Sen-elect Joni Ernst ran a campaign ad, Give Me a Shot: she pledged when she gets ObamaCare in her sights, shes going to unload.
<><> Democrats vaunted "War on Women" hit its most voluble target---Hillary Clinton. Only one of the eight Democrat women she campaigned for won.
<><> Also shell-shocked is Obama Senior Deputy Advisor--- Valerie Jarrett---who Heads the WH Commision on Women and Girls.
<><> One sap-happy NARAL campaign ad seemed to link Republican-driven "condom shortages" to global warming.

Political analyst Chris Stirewalt nailed it on The Kelly File---said Obama (and apparently all the loser Dems) still don't know what happened to them on Tuesday---and that their misspent lives as Democrats are going to change dramatically.
Don't forget the liberal university towns where the heads full of liberal mush and the professors that put it there often have the clout in shear numbers to turn a states election or at least a representatives district. The three main AZ universities are a prime example.
It’s possible that part of this may be due to the fact that Obama is not up for election as POTUS. There’s plenty of people out there that came out to vote for Obama. Crowds in Philadelphia proudly boasted about being there to elect a Black POTUS. Chances are, many of those people didn’t care about the midterms.
Remember that cousin Pookie said 2/3 of the voters didn’t vote. Al Sharpton was the first one he met with after the election to get his marching orders.
Mmmmmmmm.....Rev Al---the TV star---is so busy.
Running the post-2014 WH---
Organizing "Don't Shoot" seminars in Ferguson
Serving as Obama's Deputy Ebola Czar.....
This is true....but also disturbing that any Demon Rats in any of the other states came close.
New Hampshire might have gentry liberals, I doubt they it has a lot of blacks.
Why, for instance, did Mark Pryor even get 39% in Arkansas? I guess his family name.
Why did that moron Crist get 48% in Florida? Gentry libs.
“Blue” Pennsylvania is the same way. Philadelphia is completely Dem of course, Pittsburgh pretty much, then the rest of the state is solid red with only two exceptions corresponding to Penn State and the very liberal Bucknell University.
How many Democrats do you know that in the past month became Republicans?
When I coached basketball, I told my players that losing a game wasn’t a true loss if we learned from it. The reverse holds true. Winning a game isn’t a victory unless we learn from it. And that means learning the truth, not just what we want to believe.
Why don’t we ever hear of the “changing demographics that are disaster for Democrats” in Arkansas? :)
They are an important part of the contemporary Democrat machine. They provide intellectual and moral support to the gentry liberals.
Slo, just because Gay Charlie lost doesn't mean that the Miami-Dade-Broward cheat machine was idle. He took that area with 70%! The NY/NJ/MI/MA double dippers worked their magic. Ashamed to say it, but he took Tampa Bay by 60%, as if one can trust the Hillsborough County vote!
