Probably not anywhere yet. I live in Nevada and it was all over the local news.

I only live here. :) This state is very, very stupid is so many ways and really awesome in others. But, the scandanavian-lutheran-socialist blood runs deep. :)

I'm proud to say I wasn't born here. :) Go Pack Go!

Hmm...there was a thread a couple of days ago on what the author called the Blue Wall, a list of states so reliably Democrat that it seemed an impossible uphill slope for the Republicans to attain a majority in national offices. That one hurtled down the memory hole so fast it went supersonic. What it tells me is that another Reagan is perfectly possible - all we have to do is find one. Best of luck with that.

We still have those in the South...the yellow dog Dems “my grandpappy voted Demorcrat, my daddy voted Democrat”.

That makes sense. In small population areas the university teachers and staff that are libs make up a large segment.

Check your facts.

Republicans now control BOTH houses of the West Virginia Legislature.

Love it. I am so glad for WV. The map I used was from the Washington Post dated Nov. 5. and they have it divided.

I could not find the information about both your house. If you have time, feel free to post it, so we can prove the WP’s data incorrect.

The election left the Senate evenly divided; one of the d-rat senators switched parties.

That is an amazing story. Hall once ran as a republican, lost, ran again, but then as a democrat. He then became the tie breaker when it was time to elect a president in the evenly divided senate.

He crossed party lines and commented, “You look at the composition of the Senate, our caucus and the Democratic caucus, and ask a question, ‘Are they unified?’ Our caucus is unified.”

Do you think he is a moderate dem or at rino at heart?

LOL

You have to read that article VERY carefully.

Sen. DANIEL Hall is the party switcher.

Sen. MIKE Hall is the Minority (Republican) Leader in the current Senate.

This is West Virginia ... we’re all related.

Hall vs Hall. Being WV and relations in every holler; oh that is rich! Now they get to work together.

Congrats to you WV.

I presume you mean DANIEL Hall ... ;'}

He has a better (more conservative) record than the d-rats in the US Congress tend to have, but there are some troubling things in there. I think we'll end up calling him a RINO.
