I quit being spelling police; it's unbelieveable how sloppy journalism has gotten and spell check doesn't catch a lot. So I get sloppy, too.

It doesn't sound hopeful.

"Maryland State Board of Election figures show that 2,525 of the outstanding ballots are from Democrats, and 2,497 are from Republicans. Bongino would have to win all the Republican ballots and a significant chunk of the Democratic ones in order to pull ahead."

We shall see. Don't particularly trust them.

I’d love to add him, but GOP has several better chances to add seats. 14 races, including his, remain uncalled with 243 called for specific GOP candidates (+14). There’s one undecided race between 2 Republicans (Didier trailing Newhouse) and also one race just between Rats. So really we’re already at 244. Two races in LA go another round, and like their Senate race should go GOP. Of the remaining 10, including Bongino’s race, the GOP currently leads 4 by a minimum of 750 votes, most by over 1%. Two we’re trailing are within 600 votes. All claim to be “100% in” but doubtless are still processing same issues as this race. IIRC, GOP hasn’t held more than 246 seats since before FDR. Probably we’ll get there this time.
