Lena Dunham is now threatening to sue the right-wing website which last week published an article claiming she sexually abused her little sister when they were children.
The claim is based on an excerpt from the Girls star and creator's new book, Not That Kind of Girl, and details how she once looked at her sister Grace's vagina when her sibling was a year old and she was seven.
Lena defended the action as innocent childhood exploration based on curiosity, but the website Truth Revolt called the memory 'unsettling' and disturbing'.
Since then, she has been in a war of words with the site, which refused to take down or apologize for their piece titled 'Lena Dunham Describes Sexually Abusing Her Little Sister'.

The woman wrote about ‘finding’ pebbles in her infant sister’s privates, HOW a one year old can put them there is beyond me! This woman is even worse than most that have come before her.
IF she goes to court and goes on the stand, she will be required by law to submit herself to an extensive grilling about EVERYTHING that went on in her home and EVERYTHING that she might have done that wasn’t mentioned in the book. She’ll be subjected to a horrifically detailed cross examination and she will have her answers checked.
Any lies, she will go to jail or be charged with perjury. At minimum.
This will either way wreck her show and irreparably damage her career. No matter what, she’s not A-list and I am certain that she won’t survive this. Roman Polanski only lasted because he has clout and the ability to make great films that are critically acclaimed. Lena doesn’t have that.
Second, her perverted declarations will be read out loud in the middle of the court, with a judge and full press pack and more and more media will be quoting these horrific lines on camera (if they can) and there will be sex abuse groups out there protesting vociferously against LEna.
I think she’s going to end up bankrupt after this.
They did not actually claim she sexually abused her sister.
They offered their OPINION that what she described in her book was sexual abuse.
She has no chance of winning that case. She wrote the words, and all they are doing is saying what the words mean to them. They aren’t making up what she said.

A lot of them are condemning Lena and I believe we’ll soon be rid of her “voice of a generation” hype.
It’ll only get worse.
A lot of people view this as sexual abuse and are disgusted.
Technically, it’s not her own words being quoted - she described being “curious”, and the website is the one actually calling it sexual abuse in their title. So there may be grounds for complaint.
That said, given everything else about Lena Dunham’s past history, there may very well be other sexual skeletons that she doesn’t want to come out, which would in Discovery.

Plus, it seems like the media lines up where you'd expect them to. Because the big media likes Lena, they'll take her side in a big way, so she wins in the big media's court of public opinion.
Ironically, Lena Dunham's approach to this is what gets attacked as a "rich White guy" argument -- "Because of who I am, I can't be a sexual abuser; it's other people who do that (even when she does it herself), other less privileged people who the derogatory label applies to."
Its like when Stephen Collins confessed on tape during a therapy session to molesting children..now he complains that no one will hire him..sometimes your own words(either written or said) will come back and bite you in the rear..if she didn’t want to be accused of being a pedophile, she shouldn’t have written it in her book..she is one crazy crazy woman, dancing around in undies for Planned Parenthood, she must have had some whacko parents raising her
I bet the pebbles thing was a lie too.
The media would cover for her as much as it could, and leftists will protest as always, for her.
Her star is fading.
Her show never averaged more than 0.86mm viewers its first season and dropped off by 25% in its second season.
Then it won a raft of nominations and awards, which was supposed to make it "must watch" - they ordered two extra episodes for the third season.
Viewership only increased by 15% on average and declined by 40% over the course of the season - the season finale was one of the least watched episodes in the show's whole run.
Those are cancellation figures, not franchise figures.
And even the hipster reviewers are starting to realize that she is her character, and that her storytelling skills are weak, so she's neither a good actress nor a good writer.
Lena Dunham is a little nothing who is not worth being noticed.
It’s time for us to move on to other things, like our captivity to the Atheist-”Gay” Empire and its muslim allies. If we would bash Samantha World Power with the same force we use against Lena Dunaham, we might accomplish something worthwhile!!!!
Lena Dunham wrote that everything a “child molester” would do, she did. So if child molesters don’t actually commit sexual abuse, your interpretation is valid.

I was hoping the Lena Dumbham circus would not be lost in last night’s GOP wave. Not that I really know who she is, but it was so amusing over the weekend.

I read nothing that has to do with that crazy liberal loon..but you saying that her parents were whacked out pervs doesn’t surprise me..something made this woman what she is today, all goes back to the parents
That pretty much sums up most of the legal system.
Her dad painted pictures of vaginas, they had them on the walls of their very upscale home. Her mom took photographs of vaginas, her own, and those were also all over the walls of their home.
