100% of Newly Elected GOP Senators Campaigned on Repealing Obamacare

(CNSNews.com) - Every newly elected GOP senator who won in last night’s election campaigned on repealing Obamacare. Sens. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), David Perdue (R-Ga.), Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Sen Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) all ran on a platform of repealing Obamacare.

Gardner touted patient-centered care and a full repeal and replacement of President Obama’s Affordable Care Act (ACA), otherwise known as Obamacare.

“Small businesses and the American people cannot afford President Obama’s countless new regulations and tax increases. There is a right way and a wrong to improve our country’s healthcare system, and the President’s healthcare law just isn’t working. We need patient-centered care and lower costs. It is not too late to start over with a full repeal and replacement of the President’s healthcare law,” Gardner said in a statement.

Daines echoed those statements, also calling to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Yes, they did. And yet, RINO Ditch says otherwise.

Repeating the Headline for the benefit of the all of those Freepers who kept repeating over and over and over that the GOP wasn't running for anything. Obamacare was a major issue in the elections that counted. Claims to the contrary were bunk.

A simple repeal will be vetoed by Obama. The bill has to replace Obamacare with something so infinitely better that Obama would be stupid to oppose it.

Then they better come up with a better Senate Majority Leader than Mitch "Obamacare can't be repealed" McConnell.

So propose a simple repeal and let Obama veto it. That provides coverage for the legislature and more grist for the mill in 2016.

Regardless of whether Obama approves or vetos a repeal, he loses.

As Rush said, the GOP prevailed because of one reason and one reason only: Stop Obama. And they better do something VISIBLE quick.

It remains to be seen whether Bonehead and McTurtle finally get the message . I’m not holding my breath.

Regardless what activist justices want everybody to think about the constitutionality of Obamacare Democratcare, the states uniquely have the 10th Amendment-protected government power to regulate, tax and spend for intrastate healthcare purposes, each state managing its own healthcare program as it sees fit.

And should the states ultimately decide that the federal government can do the healthcare job better then the individual states can, then there is nothing stopping the states from amending the Constitution to grant the feds the specific power to do so.

Note that the corrupt federal government started many constitutionally indefensible federal taxing and spending programs in the 1900s and early 2000s, Democratcare a glaring recent example, wrongly ignoring that it first needed to petition the states to amend the Constitution to grant the feds the specific powers that it needs to establish such programs.

And the feds will continue to get away with wrongly usurping state powers because parents have not been making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.

I believe that offering a better solution in the same repeal bill will get the best chance of passing.

See my previous post on Line 61 the SURTAX/mandate that is in the draft of 2014 1040 IRS form. $95 or 1% of your annual income— whichever is greater.

It’s here. And needs to be removed RIGHT NOW. Call BOEHNER for what that is worth, and put the remaining dem senators who expect to be around next election to get rid of it.
NOW.

If these new senators lied then they need to go too. Right now, Freepers. Get on the phones and the net. We have 35 days before the forms final go out.
Stop it,stop funding it even more.

McConnell campaigned on repealing Obamacare too, and he's already back-tracking like crazy.

As for the rest, I'll bet every single one of them also campaigned on shrinking the size of government, cutting spending, and balancing the budget. We'll see how they do on those as well.

And if The Won vetoes it, then do as Cruz suggested, repeal the most onerous parts in a rifle shot way: not losing your healthcare, not being made part-time, not allowing the insurance companies to be federally subsidized, etc.

Go Cruz lead these frosh repubs!
