That statement has a very sinister connotation to it, i.e. he’s not going anywhere in 2016 if all goes as he has planned. He needs to be REMOVED from office within the next two years, otherwise life in the US will be as if our worst nightmares have come true. Seriously.

She’s better on her show where she’s an interviewer/anchor. When she’s co-hosting or part of a panel, she appears out of place or trying too hard.
The 1934/36 elections almost destroyed the Republicans as a viable party. The 1964 and 1974 were no picnics either for the Republicans. The Democrats may have gotten a beatdown yesterday, but they usually don’t experience whippings like the Republicans.
I don’t disagree with much of your post, and I appreciate your cautious optimism, but the reality is that major changes (via legislative bills passed by Congress) to the decades-long buildup to the federal bureaucracy would most likely get a veto from the Executive. The number of votes to override a veto is 60 votes in the Senate, and there aren’t enough Senators to override a veto.
While it is true that Congress can do some things that some of us would view in a positive light, I don’t see how a major dismantling of the alphabet agencies (EPA, DOE, etc) can take place as long as the Executive uses his veto pen.
I tend to believe that the long-term answer to bringing the country back closer to the federalist principles underlying the original Constitutional Republic is through a “limited agenda” Convention of States approach.

with just a simple majority in the House Republicans stopped Amnesty since 1994 .Clinton , Bush , Obama wanted Amnesty badly . democrats didn’t stop amnesty as democrats know they would get 40 million new democrat voters. also stopped Hillary care, gun control , full socialism.
now with a super majority or the highest majority in the House ever for R’s Amnesty will not pass unless Obama unconstitutionally issues an executive order in the lame duck session in the next 2 months
stop blaming Republicans for everything Obama does.
.........with all due respect, I don’t think so, to wit:
1. All that is needed, assuming Louisiana and Alaska go Red, is 13 votes to convict the sob! Impeachment votes in the house are already there.
2. The Democratic, Marxist, Socialist Party got smacked and fed some humble pie last night. Obama has hurt them bad and will continue to hurt them. The sooner they are rid of the sob the sooner their party can begin to think about 2016 and beyond. So, 13 votes are not completely out of the question. Very unlikely yes! Out of the question, NO.
One HUGE screw up by Obama and 13 votes could materialize overnight!
Wishful thinking. If the people were going to repudiate Barack Obama and his gang of criminals, they would have done so in 2012.
This election reflects that 6 years have passed and:
This election was about results, and Obama's grace period has finally passed.
If republicans don't want to get kicked out next election, they need to address these in a positive manner.
This is just the laying of a foundation. The work has begun.
