Yup.

The damage to this country is long-lasting and Barry is not the kind of guy to show repentance.

He’ll double down on his policies because he is an extremist by nature.

Yes four Democrat incumbents chose to step aside this round - MO, SD, VA and IA. Those seats were always likely to go to the GOP once they were vacated. It just so happens that they came open this year.

If the GOP were Democrats the media would be playing up the number of women (and one African American) who won this year.

Let us hope that Republicans will be smart enough to realize that they did not win the elections by offering people something to vote for, but won because people voted against something. They will have big shoes to fill and all we can do is hope that they don’t squander this once in a blue moon chance to put this country back on the right track. From knowing how the Republicans operated in the past it may not pay to be too overly optimistic.

On the other hand it would come as a pleasant surprise if they come to their senses and avoid making the same mistakes what caused them to fall out of favor with the public in the first place. Fate has given this great country another chance, almost like a Gift Horse by handing us a pitiful misguided and poor excuse for a leader in order to show and teach us a lesson where this country shouldn’t be going. Only time will tell if we have become any wiser and learned our lesson. If we happen to fail, this time there may not be another wakeup call.

This was a vote against Obama.

It was not a vote for the GOP.

If they put together a conservative agenda, they have a good chance in 2016.

If they don’t, tonight will be a pleasant memory.

The glass isn’t 2/3 full, it’s 1/3 empty. Got it.

Yeah. We were just lucky. Check out the blue-state state results in a day or two. They must have been lucky too, in some other way.

Yesterday's election can be summed up in four words.

Same circus, different clowns....

Mitch McConnell isn’t the change we need.

Does it make a difference? Only if you think the GOP has principles.

Let us hope thy realize this, but I am not holding my breath. The Republican were given a chance let’s hope they will not waste it as the next time around it could get real ugly.

Conservatives once again held their noses to vote and gave the senate to Republicans but what’s the reward? A kick in the face? We’ll find out.

For just one night, would it kill you to just shut up and let us enjoy this long-awaited victory? We have a couple of months before the new Congress takes office and, I for one, want to gloat just a little for the next couple of months.
