Heh, you think libertarians are bad? Try dealing with anarchists. They’re a whole nother level of crazy.

52% reporting and there is less than 3,000 between Scott Brown and Jeanne “IRS” Shaheen in NH. Perhaps it was called too soon?

In my experience there is no difference between the two. A society without moral absolutes is anarchy. If there is one thing the libertarian desires to rid this world of, it is religion and the moral absolutes that religious practice aspires to create - to the extent that these principles of endeavor to regulate destructive human behavior and reverse narcissistic impulses, or influence public policy so to affect what is objectively good.

I have not yet met even one libertarian who does not cringe at the idea that a paradigm of absolute right and wrong exists. Most of them are either agnostics or atheists, almost without exception ... And the ones who claim themselves to be “religious” are only so because they are bad libertarians.

The political side of this is that the libertarian, no matter the fact that he is vastly outnumbered, will always throw a monkey wrench into an otherwise beneficial outcome for the conservative cause ... And even though the libertarian has not “a prayer” (pun intended) to win, yet the fact that he took sufficient votes from his conservative “opponent,” who actually could have won and made a positive difference, is always chalked up as a good show for the Libertarian “cause.”

Thus they are nothing but spoilers, and self-serving narcissist. They know they are spoilers, but they do not care, a fact that further reveals the truth of the libertarian - a self-centered ego, pretentiously hiding behind the idea of “limited constitutional government” ... A government that is possible only when the citizens are willing to set limits on their carnal appetites.
